5. Configuración
5.1 Installing the Milling Cutter (Router Bit)
- Asegúrate de que o router estea desconectado da fonte de alimentación.
- Disassemble the base if necessary to access the collet.
- Use the larger wrench to loosen the clamp head (collet nut).
- Insert the desired milling cutter into the collet. Ensure it is seated properly.

- Secure and tighten the clamp head with both wrenches. Do not overtighten.

5.2 Attaching the Base and Accessories
The router comes with a transparent plastic base and various guide rails for different applications.
- Base de plástico: Attach the transparent plastic base to the router body. Ensure it is securely fastened using the tightening screws.
- Straight Edge Guide Rail: For routing along a straight edge, attach the straight edge guide rail to the base. Adjust its position to control the distance from the edge.
- Cutting Guide Rail / Edge Trimming Guide Wheel: For specific trimming tasks, attach the appropriate guide. The edge trimming guide wheel is useful for following curved edges.

6. Instrucións de funcionamento
6.1 Acendido/Apagado
- Plug the router into a suitable power outlet (110-240V, 50/60Hz).
- Use the power switch located on the router body to turn the tool ON or OFF.
6.2 Axuste da velocidade
The router features a 6-speed rotary knob, allowing you to adjust the speed from 10,000 to 30,000 RPM to suit different materials and milling cutters.
- Rotate the speed rotary knob to select the desired speed setting. Lower speeds are generally used for larger bits or harder materials, while higher speeds are for smaller bits or softer materials.

6.3 Axuste da profundidade
The router is equipped with a graduated scale and quick-release cam lock system for easy and precise depth adjustments.
- Loosen the quick-release cam lock.
- Adjust the router body up or down along the graduated scale to set the desired cutting depth.
- Tighten the quick-release cam lock to secure the depth setting.
6.4 Consellos xerais de funcionamento
- Always perform a test cut on a scrap piece of material before routing your final workpiece.
- Move the router smoothly and consistently across the workpiece. Avoid stopping or dwelling in one spot, which can cause burning or uneven cuts.
- For best results and safety, always route against the rotation of the bit (climb cutting is generally not recommended for handheld routers).
- The transparent base allows for clear observation of the processing conditions and helps control flying sawdust.

7. Mantemento
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your router. Always unplug the tool before performing any maintenance.
7.1 Substitución das escobillas de carbono
The router is designed for quick replacement of carbon brushes when they wear out.
- Locate the external carbon brush caps on the side of the router body (refer to Figure 4.1).
- Use a screwdriver or appropriate tool to remove the carbon brush cap.
- Carefully pull out the old carbon brush.
- Insert a new carbon brush, ensuring it slides in smoothly.
- Replace the carbon brush cap and tighten it securely.
- Repeat for the other carbon brush if necessary.

7.2 Limpeza
- After each use, clean the router body, especially the transparent base and collet area, to remove sawdust and debris.
- Ensure the heat dissipation ports are clear of obstructions to prevent overheating. The router features large caliber porous design for three-dimensional circulating heat dissipation.
- Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

7.3 Bit Care
- Keep router bits sharp and clean. Dull bits can cause kickback and poor cut quality.
- Store bits in their protective case to prevent damage and keep them organized.
8 Solución de problemas
| Problema | Causa posible | Solución |
|---|---|---|
| O enrutador non arranca | No power supply; Faulty power switch; Worn carbon brushes | Check power connection; Test power outlet; Replace carbon brushes (refer to Section 7.1) |
| Poor cutting performance / Burning wood | Broca de fresadora desafilada; Axuste de velocidade incorrecto; Alimentación demasiado rápida | Replace or sharpen bit; Adjust speed (refer to Section 6.2); Reduce feed rate |
| Vibración excesiva | Loose router bit; Damaged bit; Worn bearings | Ensure bit is securely tightened; Replace damaged bit; Contact service for bearing replacement |
| Sobrequecemento | Blocked ventilation ports; Prolonged heavy use | Clean ventilation ports; Allow tool to cool down; Reduce load |
9. Consellos de usuario
- Compatibilidade de pinzas: The router includes both 1/4 inch and 1/3 inch clamps (collets), accommodating router bits with 6mm to 8mm shank diameters. This provides versatility for various bit sizes.
- Router Table Use: The body diameter is approximately 9cm (3.5 inches). When considering use with a router table lift, ensure the lift's opening and clamping mechanism are compatible with these dimensions.
- Enchufe de alimentación: The router is designed for 110-240V operation. The specific plug type may vary by region. If the plug does not match your local outlets, a suitable adapter will be required.
