This instrument features polarity indication, over-range indication, data hold, and automatic hold, making it a precise and user-friendly measuring tool.
This instrument is designed in accordance with EN61010-1 for electronic measuring instruments with an over-voltage category of CAT IV 600V & CAT III 1000V and Pollution Degree 2.
2. Información de seguridade
WARNING: To prevent electric shock, personal injury, or damage to the meter or equipment under test, always adhere to the following safety rules:
- Before using the meter, inspect its casing. Do not use the meter if it is damaged or if any part of the casing is removed. Check for cracks or missing plastic, especially around the connectors.
- Inspect the test leads for damaged insulation or exposed metal. Verify the continuity of the test leads.
- Non aplicar voltage superando o volume nominaltage marked on the meter, either between terminals or between any terminal and ground.
- The rotary switch must be in the correct position. Do not change the range during measurement to prevent damage to the meter.
- When the meter operates at an effective voltage over 60V DC or 30V RMS AC, exercise special care due to the danger of electric shock.
- Use the appropriate terminals, function, and range for your measurements.
- Do not use or store the meter in environments with high temperature, humidity, explosive or flammable gases, or strong magnetic fields. Performance may degrade in damp condicións.
- Ao usar cables de proba, manteña os dedos detrás dos protectores para os dedos.
- Desconecte a alimentación do circuíto e descargue todos os altos volúmenestage capacitores antes de probar resistencia, continuidade ou diodos.
- Replace the battery as soon as the low battery indicator appears. A low battery can cause false readings, leading to electric shock or personal injury.
- Remove connections between test leads and the circuit, and turn off the meter before opening the casing.
- When servicing, use only identical replacement parts with the same model number and electrical specifications.
- The internal circuit must not be altered to prevent damage or accidents.
- Clean the meter surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents to prevent corrosion or damage.
- O medidor é adecuado para uso en interiores.
- Turn off the meter when not in use and remove batteries for long-term storage. Regularly check batteries for leaks and replace them if necessary, as leaking batteries can damage the meter.

5. Configuración
5.1 Instalación da batería
The ANENG MH15 requires six 1.5V AA batteries (not included) for power. To install the batteries:
- Abra a tapa do compartimento da batería que se atopa na parte traseira do dispositivo.
- Insert six AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Pecha a tapa do compartimento da batería de forma segura.

5.2 Conexión dos cables de proba
The device comes with test leads and alligator clips. To connect them:
- Para a maioría das medicións (voltage, resistance, continuity, diode, capacitance), connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩ+" jack.
- For insulation resistance measurements, connect the black probe to the "INS-" terminal and the red probe to the "INS+" terminal.
- If using alligator clips, align the pen with the alligator clip, insert it into the bayonet metal, and tighten.

6. Instrucións de funcionamento
6.1 Funcionamento xeral
- Acendido/apagado e selección de funcións: Turn the Function/Range switch (12) to the desired function to power on the instrument. Turn to "OFF" to power off.
- Manual and Automatic Ranging: After selecting a function, the instrument typically enters automatic mode, indicated by "AUTO" on the screen. Press the "RANGE" button once to switch to manual range mode. Press and hold "RANGE" for about 2 seconds to return to automatic range mode.
- Modo de espera de datos: Press the "HOLD" button once to enter data hold mode, locking the reading and displaying "H". Press "HOLD" again or switch functions to release data hold.

6.7 Proba de resistencia de illamento
WARNING: The instrument can only measure the resistance of non-charged objects. Before measurement, disconnect the power supply of the circuit to be tested and fully discharge all capacitors. During the measurement process, the instrument outputs a high test voltage through the "INS" terminal. Do not come into contact with any exposed wires on the instrument, probes (including clips), or the object being tested, as this may cause electric shock.
- Connect the black probe to the "INS-" terminal and the red probe to the "INS+" terminal.
- Set the Function/Range switch to the desired test voltage range (100V, 250V, 500V, or 1000V). The screen will display "-----".
- Connect the probes to the circuit to be tested.
- Press and hold the "TEST" button. The instrument panel will begin testing. The screen displays the "⚡" symbol to indicate high voltage output, and "TEST" to indicate insulation resistance measurement.
- Read the screen reading.
- Release the "TEST" button to stop the measurement.
LOCK Function for Insulation Resistance: If the "LOCK" button is pressed once and then the "TEST" button is pressed again, the instrument will continue to measure insulation resistance until the "LOCK" button is pressed again.
