Instrucións de seguridade
- Always use oven mitts or pot holders when handling the pan, especially after heating, as the handle can become hot.
- Non deixes a tixola desatendida sobre unha fonte de calor.
- Ensure the pan is stable on the stovetop to prevent tipping.
- Manteña os nenos lonxe da zona de cocción.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as placing a hot pan under cold water, as this can cause warping.
- When using in the oven, ensure the oven temperature does not exceed 250°C (482°F).
Configuración
1. Desembalaxe
Carefully remove the frying pan from its packaging. Inspect the pan for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, do not use the pan and contact customer support.
2. Limpeza inicial
Before first use, wash the pan thoroughly with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse well and dry completely. This removes any manufacturing residues.
3. Preparación para o primeiro uso
For optimal performance and to prevent food from sticking, it is recommended to season the pan lightly before its first use. Heat the pan over medium heat, add a small amount of cooking oil (e.g., canola, grapeseed), and spread it evenly. Heat until the oil shimmers, then remove from heat and let it cool. Wipe out any excess oil with a paper towel.

Instrucións de funcionamento
1. Fontes de calor
Your WMF Gourmet Plus frying pan is suitable for all heat sources, including:

2. Control de temperatura
Stainless steel pans heat efficiently. Start with medium heat and adjust as needed. Overheating can cause food to stick and may lead to discoloration of the pan.
3. Cooking with Uncoated Stainless Steel
For best results with uncoated stainless steel:
- Prequecemento: Always preheat the pan before adding food. A good test is to sprinkle a few drops of water into the hot pan; if they bead up and dance, the pan is ready. If they evaporate immediately, the pan is too hot. If they just sit there, it's not hot enough.
- Aceite: Add cooking oil after preheating. Use enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
- Liberación de alimentos: Allow food to cook undisturbed until it naturally releases from the pan. Attempting to move food too early can cause sticking.
4. Pouring Rim
The pan features an extra-wide pouring rim designed for drip-free pouring of liquids, reducing spills and mess.
5. Oven Use
The WMF Gourmet Plus frying pan is oven safe up to 250°C (482°F). Ensure the handle is not exposed to direct flame or excessive heat that could damage it beyond this temperature.
Mantemento e Limpeza
1. Dishwasher Safety
Your WMF Gourmet Plus frying pan is dishwasher-safe. However, hand washing is recommended for best results and to maintain the pan's appearance over time.
2. Lavado de mans
- Allow the pan to cool completely before washing.
- Wash with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
- For stubborn food residues, soak the pan in warm, soapy water for a period before cleaning.
- Avoid using steel wool or harsh abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the stainless steel surface.
- Dry the pan thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots.
3. Eliminación de manchas difíciles
For discoloration or stubborn stains, a stainless steel cleaner or a paste made from baking soda and water can be used. Apply, let sit for a few minutes, then scrub gently and rinse thoroughly.
4. Almacenamento
Store the pan in a dry place. If stacking with other cookware, place a cloth or pan protector between items to prevent scratches.
Resolución de problemas
Comida pegada
If food consistently sticks, ensure the pan is properly preheated and sufficient cooking oil is used. Allow food to develop a crust before attempting to move it. For delicate foods, consider using slightly more oil or a lower heat setting.
Decoloración
Blue or rainbow-like discoloration can occur due to high heat or mineral deposits from water. This is harmless and does not affect cooking performance. It can often be removed with a stainless steel cleaner or a solution of vinegar and water.
