This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of the Testboy TV 430N Digital Insulation Tester. This device is designed for measuring insulation resistance, performing continuity tests, and measuring AC voltage. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device.
2. Información de seguridade
Always adhere to the following safety precautions to prevent electric shock, injury, or damage to the device:

4. Configuración
4.1 Instalación da batería
- Ensure the device is switched OFF.
- Localiza o compartimento da batería na parte traseira do dispositivo.
- Abra a tapa do compartimento da batería.
- Insert six (6) 1.5V AA LR06 batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Pecha a tapa do compartimento da batería de forma segura.
Agora o dispositivo está listo para funcionar.
5. Instrucións de funcionamento
5.1 Medición da resistencia de illamento
This function measures the resistance of insulation in electrical systems and components.
- Asegúrese de que o circuíto baixo proba estea desenergizado e descargado de forma segura.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate terminals on the device and to the circuit under test.
- Turn the Function Dial to the desired insulation test voltage (250 V, 500 V ou 1000 V).
- Manteña premido o PROBA button. The display will show the insulation resistance value in MΩ.
- For continuous testing, press the BLOQUEO button after pressing PROBA. Preme BLOQUEO de novo para liberar.
- Soltar o PROBA button to stop the measurement. The device will automatically discharge the circuit.
5.2 Probas de continuidade
This function checks for a continuous electrical path in a circuit.
- Asegúrese de que o circuíto baixo proba estea desenergizado.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate terminals on the device and to the circuit under test.
- Turn the Function Dial to the Continuity/Resistance (Ω) position.
- If continuity is detected (low resistance), an audible tone will sound, and the resistance value will be displayed.
5.3 AC Voltage Medición
This function measures alternating current voltage.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate terminals on the device and to the voltage fonte.
- Turn the Function Dial to the AC Voltage (ACV) position.

7 Solución de problemas

- No Continuity Tone: Check if the circuit is truly continuous and if the resistance is within the device's detection range.
- O dispositivo non responde: Turn the device OFF, remove batteries, wait a few minutes, then reinsert batteries and turn ON. If the issue persists, contact support.
