- Inspect the appliance for any transport damage. If damage is found, do not connect the appliance and contact your retailer immediately.
- Place the freezer on a firm, level surface. Use the adjustable feet at the front to level the appliance if necessary.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance. Leave sufficient space (at least 10 cm) at the back and sides for air circulation.
- Avoid placing the freezer in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or cookers, as this will increase energy consumption.
- The appliance is designed for operation in a climate class ST (Subtropical), suitable for ambient temperatures between 16°C and 38°C.
3.3 Conexión eléctrica
- Antes de conectar, asegúrese de que o volumetage and frequency indicated on the rating plate (220-240 V / 50 Hz) match your household power supply.
The door hinge is reversible, allowing you to change the opening direction from right to left to suit your kitchen layout. Refer to the detailed diagrams in the full manual for step-by-step instructions on how to reverse the door.
4. Instrucións de funcionamento
4.1 Inicio inicial
After the 24-hour waiting period, plug in the freezer. The internal temperature will gradually decrease. Allow the appliance to run for several hours empty before loading food.
4.2 Control de temperatura
The freezer features a manual temperature control. Adjust the thermostat dial to set the desired freezing temperature. A typical setting for optimal food preservation is between -17°C and -20°C. Monitor the internal temperature with a freezer thermometer if precise control is required.
4.3 Función Super Freeze
The Super Freeze function is designed to rapidly lower the internal temperature of the freezer. This is useful when adding a large quantity of fresh food to be frozen, helping to preserve its quality and nutrients. Activate this function approximately 24 hours before placing fresh food inside, and deactivate it once the food is frozen (typically after 24-48 hours).
4.4 Almacenamento de alimentos
- Utilize the five transparent drawers for organized storage of various frozen items.
- The two upper compartments with flaps are suitable for smaller or frequently accessed items.
- Do not overload the freezer, as this can impede air circulation and freezing efficiency.
5. Mantemento
5.1 Desconxelación manual
This freezer features a manual defrosting system. Frost build-up reduces the efficiency of the appliance. Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches approximately 5 mm thickness.
- Desconecte o conxelador da fonte de alimentación.
- Remove all frozen food and store it in a cool place (e.g., another freezer or insulated container).
5.2 Limpeza
- Desenchufe sempre o aparello antes de limpar.
- Limpa o interior cunha solución de deterxente suave e auga morna. Evita produtos de limpeza ou solventes abrasivos.
- Limpe o exterior cun suave, damp pano.
- Regularly clean the condenser coils at the back of the appliance (if accessible) with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to maintain efficiency.
5.3 Potencia Outage
In the event of a power failure, the freezer can maintain the temperature for approximately 13 hours, provided the door remains closed. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily during a power outage para conservar a temperatura interna.
