1. Introdución

The Technoline WT 280 is a radio-controlled alarm clock designed for accurate timekeeping and convenience. It features automatic time synchronization via the DCF77 signal, an indoor temperature display, and an alarm with a snooze function. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your WT 280 alarm clock.

Botóns de control:

HORA: Used for setting the time and date manually.
ALARMA: Úsase para axustar a hora da alarma.
ALARMA ON / OFF: Activa ou desactiva a función de alarma.
12/24: Switches between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
°C/°F WAVE: Toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature display, and initiates manual DCF77 signal search.
SNOOZE/LIGHT (Top Button): Activates the snooze function when the alarm sounds, or illuminates the display backlight.

3. Configuración

3.1 Instalación da batería

Localiza o compartimento das pilas na parte traseira do reloxo despertador.

Insert the required batteries (batteries are not included) according to the polarity indicators (+ and -).

3.2 Initial Time Synchronization (DCF77)

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF77 radio signal to synchronize the time. This process may take several minutes.

Coloca o reloxo preto dunha xanela para unha recepción óptima do sinal.
A radio mast icon will appear on the display, indicating signal reception.
Once synchronized, the icon will become solid, and the correct time will be displayed.
The clock will attempt to synchronize automatically every hour, or at specific times (e.g., 2 AM UK time, which is 1 AM UK time for the Frankfurt signal).

3.3 Axuste manual da hora e da data

If automatic synchronization is not successful or if you are outside the DCF77 signal range, you can set the time and date manually.

Manteña premido o TEMPO botón ata que os díxitos das horas comecen a parpadear.
Usa o 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE botóns para axustar a hora.
Preme TEMPO de novo para confirmar a hora e pasar ao axuste dos minutos.
Repeat step 2 and 3 for minutes, year, month, and day.
After setting the date, the time zone adjustment will appear. Use 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE to set the offset (e.g., -1 for UK time if the clock defaults to Central European Time).
Preme TEMPO to exit manual setting.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

4.1 Axustar a alarma

Manteña premido o ALARMA botón ata que os díxitos da hora da alarma parpadeen.
Usa o 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE botóns para axustar a hora da alarma.
Preme ALARMA again to confirm the hour and move to the alarm minute setting.
Usa o 12/24 or °C/°F WAVE botóns para axustar os minutos da alarma.
Preme ALARMA para confirmar e saír da configuración da alarma.

4.2 Activación/desactivación da alarma

Preme o ALARMA ON / OFF button to toggle the alarm on or off.
An alarm clock symbol will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

4.3 Función Snooze

Cando soe a alarma, prema o botón grande SNOOZE / LUZ button on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes.

Formato 4.4 12/24 horas

Preme o 12/24 para cambiar entre os formatos de 12 horas (co indicador AM/PM) e de 24 horas.

4.5 Visualización da temperatura (°C/°F)

Preme o °C/°F WAVE button to toggle the indoor temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

4.6 Retroiluminación

Preme o grande SNOOZE / LUZ button on top of the clock to activate the backlight for approximately 3 seconds.

5. Mantemento

Limpeza: Limpa o reloxo cun pano suave e seco. Non empregues produtos de limpeza abrasivos nin disolventes.
Substitución da batería: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning correctly. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
Almacenamento: Se garda o reloxo durante un período prolongado, retire as pilas para evitar fugas.

6 Solución de problemas

Problema	Causa posible	Solución
O reloxo non mostra nada ou a pantalla está escura.	As baterías están baixas ou están inseridas incorrectamente.	Substitúe as pilas por outras novas, garantindo a polaridade correcta.
Clock does not synchronize with DCF77 signal.	Poor signal reception due to location, interference, or distance from transmitter.	Move the clock to a different location, preferably near a window and away from electronic devices. Ensure the clock's back or front is facing towards Frankfurt (South East from UK). Initiate a manual signal search by pressing the °C/°F WAVE botón. Set the time manually if automatic synchronization is consistently unsuccessful.
