Configuración

1. Desempaquetar: Retire coidadosamente todos os compoñentes da embalaxe.
2. Limpar: Before first use, wash the lid, egg rack, poaching tray, omelet tray, and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the heating plate with a damp pano.
3. Montar: Place the heating plate base on a stable, flat surface.
4. Preparar os ovos: Use the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup to gently puncture the larger end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during cooking.

Instrucións de funcionamento

The Cuisinart Egg Central uses the principle of steam to cook eggs. The amount of water added determines the cooking time and the desired consistency of the eggs.

1. Engadir auga: Using the provided 180 ml measuring cup, fill water to the line corresponding to your desired egg consistency (soft, medium, hard) and the number of eggs. Pour the measured water directly onto the heating plate.
2. Colocación de ovos: For boiled eggs, place the egg rack on the heating plate. Carefully position the pierced eggs onto the rack with the pierced end facing upwards. For poaching or omelets, place the respective tray on the egg rack.
3. Portada: Place the lid securely on the appliance.
4. Comezar a cociñar: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The blue LED indicator will illuminate, signaling that cooking has begun.
5. Finalización: Once the water has completely evaporated, the appliance will automatically shut off, and an audible alert will sound. The LED indicator will turn off.
6. Enfriamento: Carefully remove the lid (beware of hot steam). For hard-boiled eggs, immediately transfer them to a bowl of cold water or an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make peeling easier.

Limpeza e Mantemento

1. Desconectar: Always unplug the appliance from the power source and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
