This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Pro-Ject RM 1.3 Turntable. Please read it thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and longevity of your device.

Instrucións de configuración
Follow these steps carefully to set up your turntable:
- Desembalaxe: Retire con coidado todos os compoñentes da embalaxe. Garde a embalaxe para futuros transportes.
- Instalación do prato: Place the platter onto the central spindle. Ensure it sits securely and rotates freely.
- Colocación do motor: Position the outboard motor unit next to the turntable chassis. The motor pulley should align with the outer rim of the platter.
- Drive Belt Installation: Gently stretch the drive belt around the motor pulley and the outer rim of the platter. Ensure the belt is not twisted.
- Cartridge Installation (if not pre-installed): If your Sumiko Pearl cartridge is not pre-installed, carefully attach it to the tonearm headshell using the provided screws. Ensure correct alignment.
- Axuste do contrapeso: Slide the counterweight onto the rear of the tonearm. Adjust it until the tonearm floats horizontally. Then, set the tracking force according to the cartridge manufacturer's recommendations (typically 1.8g for Sumiko Pearl). Use a stylus pressure gauge for accuracy.
- Anti-skating Adjustment: Attach the anti-skating weight to the tonearm's anti-skating mechanism. Adjust the setting to match the tracking force.
- Conectando a Ampmáis vivo: Connect the removable RCA cables from the turntable's output to the "Phono" input of your amplifier or a dedicated phono preamplifier. Ensure the ground wire is connected between the turntable and your ampmáis vivo / preamplificador para minimizar o zumbido.

Instrucións de funcionamento
- Encendido: Connect the power supply to the motor unit and a wall outlet. Press the power button on the motor unit to start the platter rotation.
- Seleccionar velocidade: Most turntables offer 33 1/3 RPM and 45 RPM. Ensure the correct speed is selected for your record. (Refer to motor unit for speed selection mechanism, typically a switch or belt position change).
- Rexistro do lugar: Carefully place your vinyl record onto the platter.
- Brazo inferior: Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever. Position the stylus over the desired track on the record. Slowly lower the cueing lever to allow the stylus to descend onto the record groove.
- Reprodución: The record will now play. Adjust the volume on your ampmáis vivo.
- Deter a reprodución: At the end of the record, or when you wish to stop, use the cueing lever to lift the tonearm from the record. Return the tonearm to its rest and secure it. Press the power button on the motor unit to stop the platter.
Mantemento
- Limpeza de rexistros: Regularly clean your vinyl records using a dedicated record brush or cleaning solution to remove dust and static.
- Coidados do stylus: Use a soft stylus brush to gently clean the stylus tip before and after each play. Brush from back to front. Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers.
- Limpeza do prato xiratorio: Wipe the turntable chassis and platter with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspección da correa: Periodically check the drive belt for wear or stretching. Replace if necessary to maintain accurate playback speed.
