Configuración

Follow these steps for initial setup of your CRT One V CB Radio:

1. Montaxe: Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to secure the radio in a suitable location within your vehicle or operating area. Ensure it is stable and does not obstruct driving or other controls.
2. Conexión antena: Connect a properly tuned CB antenna to the antenna connector on the rear of the radio. Ensure the connection is secure. Never transmit without an antenna connected.

   • For vehicle use, connect the lighter plug to your vehicle's 12V accessory socket.
   • For base station use, connect the power cord to a regulated 13.2V DC power supply capable of providing at least 2 Amps. Observe correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
4. Conexión de micrófono: Plug the microphone cable into the dedicated microphone jack on the front panel of the radio.

Operación básica

1. Acendido/apagado e volume: Turn the Volume knob clockwise to power on the radio. Continue turning to adjust the listening volume. Turn counter-clockwise until it clicks to power off.
2. Selección de canles: Use the UP/DOWN buttons on the microphone to select your desired operating channel (1-40).
3. Squelch (SQ) / Automatic Squelch (ASQ):

5. Transmitindo: To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button on the microphone. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to listen.

• RF Gain (RFG): Preme o RFG button to adjust the receiver's sensitivity. This can be useful in areas with strong local signals to prevent overload or in weak signal areas to boost reception.
• VOX (Transmisión operada por voz): The VOX function allows you to transmit by speaking into the microphone without pressing the PTT button. Refer to the radio's specific menu or button combination for activating and adjusting VOX sensitivity.
• Canle de emerxencia (EMG): Preme o EMG button to quickly switch to pre-programmed emergency channels (typically Channel 9 for emergency calls and Channel 19 for highway information). Press again to return to the previous channel.
• Escaneo de canles: Activate the scan function (refer to specific button/menu if not dedicated) to automatically scan through active channels. The radio will stop on an active channel and resume scanning after a few seconds of inactivity.
• Bloqueo do teclado: This feature prevents accidental changes to settings or channels. Refer to the manual for the specific button combination to activate/deactivate the keypad lock.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CRT One V CB Radio:
