  3. Micrófono de montaxe: Gently insert the microphone into the stand adapter. Ensure it is securely held.
  4. Conectar o cable XLR: Connect a standard 3-pin XLR cable (not included) to the XLR output connector at the base of the microphone. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to your audio mixer, amplifier ou interface de audio.
  5. Acendido (se procede): Ensure your connected audio equipment is powered on and configured for microphone input.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

  1. Interruptor de alimentación: The DM-58-B features an ON/OFF switch on its body. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to activate the microphone. Slide it to 'OFF' when not in use to prevent unwanted noise and save power on connected devices if applicable.
  2. Colocación do micrófono: For optimal sound quality and to minimize feedback, position the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from the sound source. Due to its supercardioid polar pattern, the microphone is most sensitive to sounds directly in front of it and rejects sounds from the sides and rear.
  3. Axuste de ganancia: Adjust the input gain on your mixer or audio interface to achieve a clear signal without clipping (distortion). Start with the gain low and gradually increase it while speaking or singing into the microphone.
  4. Control de comentarios: The supercardioid pattern helps reduce feedback. If feedback occurs, try repositioning the microphone, reducing the monitor volume, or using an equalizer to cut problematic frequencies.

5. Mantemento

  • Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the microphone body. For the grille, a soft brush can be used to remove dust or debris. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the microphone.
  • Almacenamento: When not in use, store the microphone in its protective carrying case to shield it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
  • Manexo: Avoid dropping the microphone or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this can damage the internal components.
