1. Introdución

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Gallagher APC1250 Electric Fence 12-Volt 5-Amp Battery. This rechargeable, sealed battery is designed for use with the S20 Solar Unit and requires no maintenance.

3. Configuración

3.1 Desembalaxe

Carefully remove the Gallagher APC1250 battery from its packaging.
Inspect the battery for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact your supplier.

3.2 Installation (for S20 Solar Unit)

Ensure the S20 Solar Unit is turned off and disconnected from any power sources.
Locate the battery compartment on your S20 Solar Unit.
Insert the APC1250 battery into the compartment, ensuring the terminals align correctly with the energizer's connectors.

4. En funcionamento

The Gallagher APC1250 battery is designed to power the S20 Solar Energizer. Once installed, the solar panel of the S20 unit will manage the charging and discharging of the battery.

For optimal performance, allow the S20 Solar Unit with the newly installed battery to charge in direct sunlight for at least 72 hours before activating the fence energizer for the first time. This ensures the battery reaches a full charge.

4.2 Operación normal

The S20 Solar Unit will automatically charge the battery during daylight hours and draw power from it to operate the fence energizer during the night or cloudy periods.
Monitor the energizer's indicator lights (if available) to ensure proper operation and battery status.

5. Mantemento

The Gallagher APC1250 is a maintenance-free, sealed battery. Regular maintenance is not required for the battery itself. However, ensure the solar panel of your S20 unit is kept clean for efficient charging.
