4. Configuración

4.1. Instalación da batería

1. Localice o compartimento da batería na parte traseira do control remoto.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards and lift it off.
3. Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.

4.2. Programming the Remote for your DIRECTV Receiver

The RC66X remote is typically pre-programmed to control most DIRECTV receivers. If it does not work immediately, follow these steps:

1. Apunta o mando a distancia ao teu receptor DIRECTV.
2. Manteña premido o MUTO e SELECCIONAR buttons simultaneously until the green light at the top of the remote flashes twice.
3. Entra 961. The green light will flash twice.
4. Preme o CHAN UP botón unha vez.
5. Preme o SELECCIONAR button. The green light will flash twice.
6. Test the remote by trying to change channels or access the guide.

4.3. Programming the Remote for your Television

To control your television's power and volume with the RC66X remote, you need to program it with your TV's brand code.

3. Enter the 5-digit TV code for your television brand. (Common codes can be found in your TV's manual or online. If you don't have a code, try the code search method below.) The green light will flash twice.

5. If the TV does not turn off, repeat steps 2-4 with a different code for your TV brand.

Code Search Method (if you don't know your TV code):

3. Entra 991. The green light will flash twice.
4. Preme o CHAN UP button repeatedly (slowly, about every 2 seconds) while pointing the remote at your TV. Stop when your TV turns off.
