4. Configuración e instalación

The Ideal Standard Melange A4272AA mixer is designed for external wall mounting. Ensure you have the necessary tools (e.g., adjustable wrench, PTFE tape, spirit level) before proceeding.

1. Prepare a zona de instalación: Turn off the main water supply. Ensure the hot and cold water pipes are correctly positioned and spaced for the mixer. The adjustable S-connections allow for a center distance between 137 mm and 163 mm.
2. Install S-Connections: Apply PTFE tape to the threaded ends of the S-connections and screw them into the wall outlets. Adjust their position until they are level and the correct distance apart (137-163 mm) for the mixer body.
3. Attach Mixer Body: Place the gaskets onto the S-connections. Carefully align the mixer body with the S-connections and tighten the nuts. Use an adjustable wrench, but do not overtighten to avoid damaging the chrome finish or connections.
