1. Introdución
This manual provides instructions for the VTech CS6529-4 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System. This system includes a base unit with a digital answering machine and four cordless handsets, offering advanced features such as Caller ID/Call Waiting, a full-duplex speakerphone, and Quiet Mode. 4. Configuración
4.1. Instalación da batería
- Abra a tapa do compartimento das baterías na parte traseira de cada teléfono sen fíos.
- Connect the provided rechargeable battery pack to the connector inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Coloque a batería dentro do compartimento e peche a tapa.
4.2. Conexión da unidade base
- Conecte un extremo do cable da liña telefónica á toma TEL LINE na parte traseira da unidade base.
- Conecte o outro extremo do cable da liña telefónica a unha toma de teléfono da parede.
- Conecte o extremo pequeno do adaptador de CA á toma POWER da parte traseira da unidade base.
- Plug the large end of the AC adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
4.3. Handset Charging
Place each cordless handset into its respective charging cradle. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow at least 16 hours for the batteries to fully charge before initial use.

4.4. Axuste de data e hora
After the handsets are charged, the display will prompt you to set the date and time. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure these settings for accurate Caller ID records and answering system timestamps.
5. Funcionamento
5.1. Realización e recepción de chamadas
- Para facer unha chamada: Preme FALA / FLASH or ORADORe, a seguir, marque o número de teléfono.
- Para responder unha chamada: Preme FALA / FLASH or ORADOR cando soa o teléfono.
- Para finalizar unha chamada: Preme OFF/CANCELAR ou volva colocar o teléfono na base de carga.
5.2. Altavoz
The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone for hands-free conversations. Press the ORADOR button during a call to activate or deactivate the speakerphone.

5.3. Identificador de chamadas e chamada en espera
The system displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. If you subscribe to Call Waiting service, the phone will alert you to a second incoming call. Press FLASH para cambiar entre chamadas.

5.4. Contestador dixital
The base unit features a digital answering system with up to 14 minutes of recording time. You can listen to messages from the base unit or any cordless handset.
- Para activar/desactivar: Preme ANS ON/OFF na unidade base.
- To Play Messages: Preme REPRODUCIR/PARAR na unidade base.
- Acceso remoto: You can access your messages remotely by calling your home number and entering a remote access code.

5.5. Intercomunicador
Usa a función de intercomunicador para comunicarte entre os auriculares. Preme INT on a handset, then dial the number of the desired handset.

5.6. Modo silencioso
Silence the ringer on the handset and base unit for a specified period. This is useful for uninterrupted sleep or meetings. Access Quiet Mode settings through the handset menu.

5.7. Axenda telefónica
Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing. Access the phonebook via the handset menu.
5.8. Bloqueo de chamadas
The system may offer features to block unwanted calls. Consult the handset menu for specific call blocking options and setup.
5.9. Wall Mount Option
The base unit can be mounted on a wall to save counter space. Use the included wall mount bracket and follow the instructions for secure installation.

6. Mantemento
6.1. Coidado da batería
The handsets use rechargeable batteries. For optimal performance:
- Always return handsets to their charging cradles when not in use.
- Replace batteries when they no longer hold a charge effectively. Use only VTech approved replacement batteries.

7 Solución de problemas
If you experience issues with your VTech CS6529-4 system, try the following steps:
