5. Configuración

5.1 Battery Installation (Multimeter)

The multimeter is battery-driven. To install or replace batteries:

6. Instrucións de funcionamento

6.1 Encendido/apagado

Rotate the rotary switch to any measurement function to turn the multimeter ON. To turn it OFF, rotate the switch to the "OFF" position.

6.2 Medir Vol. CCtage (VDC)

1. Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (red to VΩmA, black to COM).
2. Rotate the rotary switch to the desired "VDC" range (e.g., 20V, 200V, 600V). If unsure, start with the highest range and decrease as needed.

3. Connect the red probe to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black probe to the negative (-) terminal.

6.6 Using the Non-Contact AC Voltage Tester (MS-430)

The MS-430 is designed to detect AC voltage without direct contact, providing a quick safety check.

1. Press the power button on the MS-430 to turn it on.
2. Bring the tip of the tester close to the wire or outlet you suspect has AC voltage.
