1. Attaching to Vehicle Hitch Receiver
- Insert the hitch bar of the bike carrier into your vehicle's 1-1/4" or 2" hitch receiver. Ensure the hitch pin holes align.
- Insert the anti-rattle hitch pin through the aligned holes in the hitch receiver and the bike carrier.
- Secure the hitch pin with the retaining clip. Ensure the pin is fully seated and the clip prevents it from disengaging.

2. Using the Tilt-Away Feature
The tilt-away feature allows access to the rear of your vehicle without removing the bike carrier.
- Ensure bikes are securely fastened.
- Locate the tilt-away release pin or lever at the base of the main upright mast.
- Pull the pin or activate the lever while supporting the weight of the carrier and bikes.
- Carefully tilt the carrier downwards until it rests in the tilted position.
