4. Funcionamento

4.1 Modos de funcionamento

The TT350O supports various flash modes. Press the Mode Selection Button (2) to cycle through them.

  • Modo de flash automático TTL: Light levels are measured through the lens, and the flash automatically sets the correct exposure. This mode simplifies shooting by automating flash output.
  • Comparison of a portrait taken with natural light versus one taken with TTL autoflash, showing improved lighting and detail with flash.

Figure 4.1: Effect of TTL Autoflash.

  • Manual Flash (M) Mode: Allows manual control over flash output from 1/128 to 1/1 power, with 22 levels of fine adjustment. Use the Select Dial (14) to adjust power.
  • Modo de flash múltiple: Used for stroboscopic photography to capture multiple images of a moving subject in a single frame. Adjust flash frequency and number of flashes using the Select Dial (14).
  • Modos escravos ópticos S1/S2: These modes allow the TT350O to be triggered by another flash unit optically. S1 mode triggers the flash upon detecting the main flash. S2 mode ignores the pre-flash of a TTL system and triggers on the second flash.
  • Sincronización de alta velocidade (HSS): Enables flash synchronization at shutter speeds faster than the camera's native sync speed (up to 1/8000s). This is useful for freezing fast motion or using flash in bright ambient light.
  • Front Curtain Sync / Rear Curtain Sync: Front curtain sync fires the flash at the beginning of the exposure. Rear curtain sync fires the flash at the end of the exposure, creating a motion blur effect behind the subject.

6 Solución de problemas

If you encounter issues with your GODOX TT350O flash, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Flash not firing or inconsistent firing:
    • Check battery levels and ensure they are correctly inserted.
    • Ensure the flash is securely mounted on the camera's hotshoe and the lock ring is tightened.
    • Verify that the flash mode (TTL, M, S1/S2) is appropriate for your shooting setup.
    • Se emprega o modo sen fíos, asegúrese de que as unidades mestra e escrava estean no mesmo canal e grupo.
  • Incorrect exposure (over/underexposed images):
    • In TTL mode, check for flash exposure compensation settings on both the flash and camera.
    • In Manual mode, adjust the flash power output (1/128 to 1/1) using the Select Dial.
    • Ensure the flash head is pointed correctly (e.g., not directly at the subject if bouncing is desired).
  • Zoom function stuck at 14mm:
    • Ensure the built-in wide diffuser panel (20) is fully stowed inside the flash body. It should click into place. The flash detects when this panel is deployed and overrides zoom information.
  • Flash not recognized by camera:
    • Remove and re-mount the flash on the camera's hotshoe.
    • Clean the hotshoe contacts on both the flash and camera.
    • Ensure the flash firmware is up to date (check GODOX websitio web para actualizacións).
