4. Configuración

Proper setup is crucial for optimal performance and safety of your HDL6-A module.

4.1 Desembalaxe e inspección

  • Retire coidadosamente a unidade da súa embalaxe.

4.2 Conexión de alimentación

  • The HDL6-A uses a standard PowerCON connector for its power input.
  • Connect the provided power cable to the blue Power IN connector on the rear panel.

  • For daisy-chaining power to other HDL6-A units, use the white Power LINK connector. Ensure not to exceed the maximum power consumption for the entire chain.

  • Connect your audio source (e.g., mixer, audio interface) to the Balanced INPUT XLR connector on the rear panel.
  • To send the audio signal to another HDL6-A unit or other audio equipment, use the Balanced LINK XLR connector.

  • Utilize the integrated rigging hardware for suspending the modules.

  • For ground stacking, ensure the units are stable and cannot tip over.

5. En funcionamento

Once the HDL6-A is set up, follow these steps for operation.

5.1 Acendido/Apagado

  • Asegúrese de que todas as conexións estean seguras antes de acender.
  • Turn on your audio source (mixer, etc.) first, then power on the HDL6-A.
  • When powering off, turn off the HDL6-A first, then your audio source.

5.2 Control de volume

  • The VOLUME knob on the rear panel adjusts the output level of the module.
  • Start with the volume at a low setting and gradually increase it to the desired level.

5.3 High Frequency (HF) Switch

  • The HF switch allows you to select between 'FLAT' and 'BOOST' settings for the high frequencies.
  • PISO: Provides a neutral frequency response, suitable for most applications.
  • IMPULSO: Enhances high frequencies, which can be useful for long-throw applications or to compensate for air absorption.

5.4 Indicadores LED
