The Protmex PT3378 Wireless Weather Station provides comprehensive environmental monitoring for both indoor and outdoor conditions. This device features a vibrant color display that shows outdoor temperature and humidity, indoor temperature and humidity, a 12-hour weather forecast, moon phase, time, date, and barometric pressure. It also includes an alarm clock with a snooze function and a USB charging port for external devices. The wireless outdoor sensor transmits data up to 60 meters, ensuring accurate readings from your desired location.

The outdoor sensor measures external temperature and humidity and transmits data wirelessly to the main unit. It includes a small LCD display and control buttons for configuration.

The back of the main unit houses the battery compartment, power input, USB charging port, and various setting buttons.

4. Configuración

4.1 Alimentación da unidade principal

  1. Insert Batteries (Optional Backup): Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit (refer to Image 3). Insert 4 AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-). These batteries serve as a backup in case of power outages.
  2. Conectar o adaptador de alimentación: Plug the included power adapter into the Power Supply Socket (DC 5V 1.2A) on the back of the main unit (refer to Image 3). Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.

4.2 Installing the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

  1. Inserir pilas: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor (refer to Image 2, C7). Insert 2 AA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Seleccione o canal: On the outdoor sensor, use the "Channel 1 or 2 or 3" button (C6) to select a transmission channel (e.g., Channel 1). Ensure this channel matches the setting on the main unit during pairing.
  3. Colocación: Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and rain to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronic devices that could interfere with the wireless signal. The maximum transmission range is approximately 60 meters.

4.3 Pairing the Sensor with the Main Unit

  1. Ensure both the main unit and the outdoor sensor have power.
  2. The main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This may take a few minutes. The remote temperature and humidity readings (A1, A2) will appear on the display once connected.
  3. If the sensor does not connect, press and hold the "MEM" button on the main unit for a few seconds to initiate a manual search. On the outdoor sensor, press the "TX" button (C5) to send a signal.

5.1 Configuración de data e hora

Press the "TIME" button on the side of the main unit to enter time setting mode. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust values, and press "TIME" again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., hour, minute, 12/24 hour format, year, month, day).

5.2 Alarm Clock and Snooze Function

Press the "ALARM" button to view or set the alarm time. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust. To activate/deactivate the alarm, use the alarm on/off shift switch on the side of the unit (refer to Image 3). When the alarm sounds, touch the "Snooze / Backlight" area (refer to Image 3) to activate snooze for a few minutes.

On the main unit, press the "TEMP" button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) for temperature display. The outdoor sensor also has a dedicated "°C/°F" button (C4) to change its local display unit.

When powered by the AC adapter, the display offers four brightness levels. Use the "LIGHT" button on the side of the unit to cycle through these levels. When operating on batteries, the backlight will automatically turn off after 8 seconds to conserve power.

The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12 hours based on atmospheric pressure trends. The forecast is displayed using six distinct symbols:
