3.3 Tabbing and Soldering

The cells feature pre-designed contact points on the back for tabbing. Carefully solder tabbing wires to these points to create electrical connections.

• Apply a small amount of flux to the contact pads.
• Place the tabbing wire over the fluxed pad.
• Briefly touch the soldering iron to the wire and pad until the solder flows and creates a secure connection. Remove the iron immediately.
• Ensure connections are solid but avoid excessive solder buildup.
