Introdución

The ThermoPro TP53 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer is designed to provide accurate and timely readings of indoor temperature and humidity. This device features a clear LCD display with a touch-activated backlight, comfort level indicators, and records for maximum and minimum values over 24 hours or all time. Its versatile design allows for multiple placement options, making it suitable for various indoor environments.

Configuración

1. Instalación da batería

1. Localice o compartimento da batería na parte traseira da unidade.
2. Retire a tapa do compartimento da batería.
3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Ensure to remove any thin plastic insulation from the batteries if present.
4. Coloque a tapa do compartimento da batería.

The ThermoPro TP53 offers flexible placement to suit your needs:

• Soporte de mesa: Utilize the integrated fold-out stand to place the unit on any flat surface, such as a desk, table, or shelf.
• Parte traseira magnética: The strong magnet allows you to attach the thermometer to metal surfaces like refrigerators or metal doors.
• Montaxe colgante: Use the hanging hole to mount the unit on a wall using a screw or hook (not included).

Instrucións de funcionamento

1. Lecturas da pantalla

Once powered on, the device will immediately display the current indoor temperature and humidity. The large, clear digits ensure easy readability.

• Temperatura: Shown in large digits at the top, in either Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).
• Humidade: Shown in large digits at the bottom, as a percentage (%).
• Indicador de nivel de confort: Located below the humidity reading, indicating Dry, Comfort, or Wet conditions.

2. Rexistros máximos/mín.

The device tracks and displays the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity recorded. You can switch between 24-hour records and all-time records.

• Press the "ALL-TIME/24 HRS" button on the back of the unit to toggle between the two record modes.
• The display will show "24 hrs" for the past 24-hour records or "ALL TIME" for records since the last reset.

3. Funcionamento da retroiluminación

To activate the backlight for improved visibility in dark environments:

• Touch the light bulb icon button located at the bottom center of the front display.
• The yellow backlight will illuminate for 15 seconds. You can press it again to turn it off sooner.

4. Selección de unidades de temperatura

You can switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) temperature units:

• Press the "°F/°C" button on the back of the unit to change the temperature display.

• Substitución da batería: When the display dims or becomes unreadable, replace the 2 x AAA batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.

Resolución de problemas

  • Ensure any plastic insulation tab has been removed from the batteries.

  • Compare readings with another calibrated thermometer/hygrometer if available to confirm significant discrepancies.
• Display appears "funny" or distorted temporarily:
  • This can sometimes occur if pressure is applied directly to the LCD screen. It should return to normal once the pressure is removed.
