Configuración e primeiro uso

Before using your espresso machine for the first time, follow these steps:

Desembalaxe: Remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
Limpeza: Lave o depósito de auga, o portafiltro, as cestas do filtro e a bandexa de goteo con auga morna e xabón. Enxágüe ben e seque.
Encher o depósito de auga: Encha o depósito de auga con auga fría e fresca ata o nivel MÁX.

Ceba a bomba: Place a cup under the portafilter outlet (without coffee). Turn the rotary knob to the coffee symbol and press the coffee brewing button. Let water run through for about 30 seconds to prime the pump and rinse the system. Repeat for the steam wand by turning the knob to the steam symbol.

Precalentar: Turn on the machine using the ON/OFF button. Allow it to preheat for approximately 2-3 minutes until the indicator light is steady.
Preparar o portafiltro: Insert the desired filter basket (single or double shot) into the portafilter. Fill with finely ground espresso coffee.

Tamp Café: Use o tamper to press the coffee grounds firmly and evenly. Wipe any excess coffee from the rim.

Eliminar o portafiltro: After brewing, carefully remove the portafilter by turning it to the left. Discard the used coffee grounds.

Frothing Milk for Cappuccino/Latte

Preparar o leite: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (preferably whole milk) to about one-third full.
Activar Steam: Turn the rotary knob to the steam symbol. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate steadily.

Leite espumoso: Immerse the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam valve slowly. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam. Once desired foam and temperature are reached, close the steam valve and remove the pitcher.

To dispense hot water, ensure the machine is heated. Place a cup under the steam wand. Turn the rotary knob to the hot water symbol. Hot water will dispense from the steam wand. Turn the knob back to the neutral position to stop.

Descalcificación

Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling should be performed every 2-3 months. Use a commercial descaling agent suitable for espresso machines and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Always rinse the machine thoroughly with fresh water after descaling.
