2. Activación da batería
The CR2032 batteries are pre-installed in your remotes. To activate them, locate and pull out the small plastic tab extending from the battery compartment. This tab prevents battery drain during storage and shipping.
3. Attaching the Visor Clip
To attach the visor clip:
- Locate the slot on the back of the remote.
- Slide the metal visor clip into the slot until it clicks securely into place.

The Genie G3T-R remote is easily programmable for use with Genie garage door openers. The programming method depends on the age of your opener:
- For Genie Intellicode Garage Door Openers (1997-Present): The remote can operate up to 3 openers. Refer to your garage door opener's manual for specific programming steps, which typically involve pressing the 'Learn' button on the opener unit and then a button on the remote.
- For Genie Operators (1995-1997): The remote will operate with up to 2 doors using only the top two buttons. Consult your specific opener's manual for programming instructions.

- Press and release the 'Learn Code' button. The LED indicator on the opener will begin to flash.
- Within 30 seconds, press and release the desired button on your G3T-R remote.

The Genie G3T-R remote uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. When the remote's range decreases or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the battery.
- To open the remote casing, use a small coin or the visor clip as a lever in the small notch on the side of the remote.
- Carefully pry open the two halves of the remote.
