1. Introdución
The CONTEC CMS50NA Pulse Oximeter is a portable device designed for non-invasive spot-check measurement of oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2) and pulse rate. 3. Configuración
3.1 Instalación da batería
- Open the battery cover on the back of the device by sliding it downwards.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.

3.2 Fixación do cordón
- Thread the thinner end of the lanyard through the lanyard loop hole located on the side of the oximeter.
- Pass the thicker end of the lanyard through the looped thinner end and pull gently to secure.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento
4.1 Tomar unha medida
- Abra o clip do pulsioxímetro.
- Insert one of your fingers (preferably the index or middle finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter, ensuring it is placed correctly.
- Press the power button on the top of the device.
- Keep your hand still and avoid shaking during the measurement process.
- The SpO2 and Pulse Rate values will appear on the display within a few seconds.

4.2 Comprensión da pantalla
The bright TFT display shows the following information:
- SpO2: Blood Oxygen Saturation Level (displayed as a percentage).
- PRbpm: Pulse Rate (displayed in beats per minute).
- Pulse Rate Waveform: A graphical representation of your pulse.
- Pulse Bar Graph: A vertical bar graph indicating pulse intensity.

4.3 Orientación da pantalla
The device features a rotatable multi-directional display. The display orientation automatically adjusts based on how the device is held, ensuring easy readability from various angles.

4.4 Apagado automático
The device will automatically power off after 5 seconds of inactivity or when the finger is removed from the sensor.
5. Mantemento
5.1 Limpeza do dispositivo
- Clean the surface of the oximeter with a soft cloth dampcon alcohol isopropílico ao 70%.
- Do not immerse the device in water or any cleaning solution.
- Ensure the device is completely dry before reuse.
5.2 Substitución da batería
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always use new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries.
5.3 Almacenamento
Store the pulse oximeter in its handy carry pouch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
