5. Configuración
Follow these steps to set up your coffee machine for the first time:

- Limpeza inicial: Before first use, clean the glass carafe, filter holder, and water tank with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Colocación: Coloque a máquina de café sobre unha superficie estable, plana e resistente á calor, lonxe de fontes de auga e da calor directa. Asegúrese de que haxa unha ventilación axeitada.
- Primeiro ciclo de preparación (sen café): Fill the water tank to the MAX level. Place the empty filter holder and glass carafe in position. Run a full brewing cycle with only water to rinse the internal components. Discard the water.
6. Instrucións de funcionamento
Brewing coffee with your WMF Lumero Aroma Coffee Machine is simple:
- Encher o depósito de auga: Remove the water tank and fill it with fresh, cold water up to the desired number of cups (max 10 cups / 1.25 Litres). The external water level indicator helps with precise portion control. Place the water tank back securely.
- Inserir filtro: Open the swivel filter holder and insert a 1x4 paper filter.
- Engadir pos de café: Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level measuring spoon per cup, but adjust to your taste. Close the filter holder.

7.1 Limpeza diaria
- Glass Carafe and Filter Holder: After each use, remove the filter holder and discard the used coffee grounds and paper filter. Wash the glass carafe and filter holder with warm soapy water. They are also dishwasher safe.

7.2 Descalcificación

- Use a suitable descaling solution recommended for coffee machines. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling agent.
