- Retire coidadosamente a tapa.
- Introduza unha pila nova de 9 V, respectando a polaridade correcta (+ e -).
- Coloque a tapa da batería e fíxaa co parafuso.
5.2 Conexión do cable de proba
- Para a maioría das medicións (voltage, resistance, diode, continuity, temperature, and current up to 200mA), connect the black test lead to the COM conector e o cable de proba vermello para o VΩmACF jack.
- For DC current measurements between 200mA and 10A, connect the black test lead to the COM conector e o cable de proba vermello para o 10A jack.
6. Instrucións de funcionamento
Always select the appropriate function and range using the rotary switch before connecting the test leads to the circuit under test.
6.1 Medir Vol. CCtage (V=)
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (COM and VΩmACF).
- Axuste o interruptor rotatorio ao volume de CC desexadotage (V=) range (e.g., 200m, 2000m, 20, 200, 500). If the voltagSe e é descoñecido, comece co rango máis alto (500 V) e diminúa segundo sexa necesario.
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (COM and VΩmACF).
If the voltagSe e é descoñecido, comece co rango máis alto (500 V) e diminúa segundo sexa necesario.
- Connect the test leads across the component or circuit to be measured. Polarity is not critical for AC voltage.
- Le o voltago valor da pantalla LCD.
6.3 Medición da corrente continua (A=)
- For 200mA or less: Connect the black test lead to COM and the red test lead to VΩmACF.
- For 10A: Connect the black test lead to COM and the red test lead to 10A.
- Set the rotary switch to the desired DC Current (A=) range (e.g., 20m, 200m, 10A). Start with the highest range if the current is unknown.
- Open the circuit where current is to be measured and connect the multimeter in series with the load.
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (COM and VΩmACF).
- Set the rotary switch to the desired Resistance (Ω) range (e.g., 200, 2000, 20k, 200k, 20M). Start with a higher range if the resistance is unknown.
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (COM and VΩmACF).
- Set the rotary switch to the Diode symbol.
- Reverse the test leads. The display should show 'OL' (Open Loop) for a good diode.
6.6 Proba de continuidade
- Asegúrate de que o circuíto estea desenergizado.
- Connect the test leads as described in Section 5.2 (COM and VΩmACF).
- Set the rotary switch to the Continuity (buzzer) symbol.
- If the resistance is below approximately 50Ω, the buzzer will sound, indicating continuity. The display will also show the resistance value.
6.7 Medición da temperatura (°C/°F)
- Connect the temperature probe (K-type thermocouple, not included with all models) to the VΩmACF (positive) and COM (negative) jacks, observing polarity.
- Set the rotary switch to the °C or °F position.
Preme o ATENCIÓN button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold function and resume live measurements.
6.9 Función de retroiluminación
Preme o Snowflake/Light button to turn on the display backlight. Press it again to turn off the backlight. This feature is useful in dimly lit environments.
7. Mantemento
7.1 Substitución da batería
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the 9V battery as soon as possible to ensure accurate measurements. Follow the steps outlined in Section 5.1.
7.2 Substitución de fusibles
The 10A input jack is protected by a fuse. If the multimeter fails to measure current in the 10A range, the fuse may need replacement. Refer to the specifications for the correct fuse type. Fuse replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Unscrew the case screws and carefully open the multimeter casing.
- Locate the fuse(s) and replace the blown fuse with one of the identical type and rating.
