1. Configuración
1.1 Instalación da batería
The Sharp EL-W531TL calculator operates on one LR44 battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:
- Asegúrate de que a calculadora estea acendida DESACTIVADO.
- Localiza a tapa do compartimento das pilas na parte traseira da calculadora.
- Use a small screwdriver to remove the screw securing the cover.
- Carefully remove the cover and insert the LR44 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

Nota: Desfágase das baterías usadas segundo a normativa local.
1.2 Encendido inicial
Preme o ON/C key to turn on the calculator. The display will show the default mode (e.g., DEG for degrees).

2. Instrucións de funcionamento
2.1 Operacións aritméticas básicas
Perform basic calculations using the number keys and operation keys (+, -, ×, ÷). Preme = para mostrar o resultado.
- Adición: 5 + 3 = (Result: 8)
- Resta: 10 - 4 = (Result: 6)
- Multiplicación: 7 × 2 = (Result: 14)
- División: 15 ÷ 3 = (Result: 5)
2.2 Funcións científicas
The EL-W531TL offers over 420 scientific functions. Many functions are accessed by pressing the 2º F tecla seguida da tecla de función desexada.
- Funcións trigonométricas: Use pecado, cos, bronceado keys. For inverse functions, press 2º F then the respective key (e.g., 2º F pecado for sin-1).
- Logaritmos: Use rexistro (base 10) e ln claves (logaritmo natural).
- Potencias e raíces: Use x² para cuadrar, √ for square root. For other powers, use yx.
- Fraccións: Usa o ab/c key to enter and calculate fractions.
2.3 Funcións de memoria
The calculator includes independent memory (M) and variable memories (A-F, X, Y).
- Store to Memory: Enter a value, then press STO followed by the desired memory key (e.g., STO M+ to store to M).
- Recall from Memory: Preme RCL followed by the desired memory key.
- Borrar memoria: Preme M-CLR to clear all memories.
2.4 Selección de modo
Preme o MODO key to cycle through different calculation modes (e.g., Normal, Stat, Drill). Press CA to change angle units (DEG, RAD, GRAD).

3. Mantemento
3.1 Limpeza
To clean the calculator, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the calculator, as this may damage the display or keys.
3.2 Substitución da batería
When the display becomes dim or calculations are erratic, it is time to replace the battery. Refer to Section 1.1 for battery installation instructions. Always replace with a new LR44 alkaline battery.
3.3 Almacenamento
Store the calculator in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
