  • Ensure the power supply used is DC12V and meets the device's power requirements. An incorrect power supply can damage the device.

4.4 Portos e conexións

The ANVIZ VF10 features various ports for communication and integration:

  • TCP/IP (Ethernet): For network connectivity and communication with management software.

5. Instalación

  2. Use the provided mounting template (if available) to mark the drilling points on the wall.

  • Conexión RS485: If connecting a slave reader (e.g., T5S), connect the RS485 A and B terminals of the VF10 to the corresponding A and B terminals of the slave reader.
  • Wiegand Out Connection: If connecting to a remote relay (e.g., SC011) or an access control panel, connect the Wiegand Data 0, Data 1, and Ground terminals.

6. Configuración inicial

After successful installation and wiring, power on the device using the power button. The device will boot up and display the main interface.

6.1 Configuración básica

  1. Selección do idioma: Navigate through the menu to select your preferred language (Italian, German, English, Turkish).
  2. Data e hora: Set the correct date and time for accurate attendance records.
  3. Configuración de rede: Configure the device's IP address, subnet mask, and gateway if using TCP/IP communication. This can be done manually or via DHCP.
  4. Configuración do administrador: It is highly recommended to register at least one administrator fingerprint and/or PIN immediately to secure the device and access advanced settings.

The VF10 can store up to 1000 users and 1000 fingerprints. User management is typically performed through the device's menu or via the CrossChex software.

7.1 Adding a New User

  1. Access the main menu (usually by pressing 'M' or 'OK' and entering administrator credentials).
  2. Navigate to "User Management" or "Add User".
  3. Enter a unique User ID.

  5. Set PIN (Password): Enter a numeric PIN for the user.

  1. Place a registered finger flat on the fingerprint sensor.
  2. The device will verify the fingerprint. A successful verification will be indicated by a visual and/or audible prompt, and the door will unlock (if connected).

8.2 ID + PIN Authentication

8.3 Clocking In/Out

The device allows viewing of attendance records directly on the LCD screen. Navigate through the menu to "View Records" or "Attendance Logs". The device can store up to 50,000 log records.

9. Software Integration (CrossChex)

The ANVIZ VF10 integrates with ANVIZ CrossChex software for comprehensive management of users, devices, attendance data, and reporting.

9.2 CrossChex Lite Software

CrossChex Lite is a streamlined version for basic time attendance and access control functions. It is suitable for smaller installations or simpler requirements.

9.3 Data Download and Reporting

Connect the VF10 to the CrossChex software via TCP/IP or Mini USB to download attendance logs and user data. The software can then generate various reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly attendance summaries, late arrivals, early departures, and overtime.

10. Mantemento

  • Limpeza: Gently wipe the fingerprint sensor and LCD screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Copia de seguridade de datos: Regularly back up attendance records and user data using the CrossChex software to prevent data loss. The device has a lithium battery for data storage during power outages, but regular backups are still recommended.
