Thank you for choosing the Pro-Ject Primary E Phono Turntable. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your new turntable. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The Primary E Phono is designed to deliver high-fidelity audio playback from your vinyl records, featuring a built-in phono stage, an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm, and a pre-mounted Ortofon OM NN cartridge, all housed in a matte black finish.

Configuración
1 Colocación
Place the turntable on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong vibrations. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for ventilation and operation of the dust cover.
2. Instalación do prato e da correa
- Carefully place the platter onto the spindle.

3. Tonearm and Cartridge
The Ortofon OM NN cartridge is pre-mounted and aligned at the factory. No further adjustment is typically required for initial setup. Ensure the stylus guard is removed before playing a record.

4. Conexións de audio
The Primary E Phono features a built-in phono preamplifier, allowing you to connect it directly to a line-level input on your amplifier or active speakers. It also has a switch to bypass the internal phono stage if you prefer to use an external one.
- Connect the supplied RCA audio cable from the turntable's output jacks to an available input on your amplifier (e.g., "AUX", "CD", "Line In").
- Ensure the "PHONO OUT / LINE OUT" switch on the rear of the turntable is set correctly:
- Establecer en FORA DE LIÑA if connecting to a standard line-level input (using the internal phono stage).
- Establecer en FONO OUT if connecting to an amplifier with a dedicated phono input (bypassing the internal phono stage).

5. Conexión de alimentación
Connect the power supply cable to the DC input on the turntable and then plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
6. Funda antipolvo
Attach the dust cover to the hinges at the rear of the turntable. The dust cover protects the turntable from dust and debris when not in use.

Instrucións de funcionamento
1. Acendido/apagado
The turntable is powered on by plugging it into the mains. There is no separate power switch. To turn off, unplug the power supply.
2. Reproducir un disco
- Coloca un disco no prato.
- Select the correct playback speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch located on the top left of the plinth.
- Levante o brazo usando a palanca de sinalización.
- Carefully position the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
- Gently lower the tonearm using the cueing lever. The stylus will descend onto the record and playback will begin.
3. Deter a reprodución

1. Cleaning the Turntable
- Desconecte sempre o prato xiratorio da toma de corrente antes de limpalo.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the plinth and dust cover. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- For the platter, use a slightly damp un pano se é necesario e logo secar completamente.
2. Coidado do punteiro

Periodically inspect the drive belt for any signs of wear, stretching, or cracking. A worn belt can affect playback speed stability. Replace the belt if necessary.
