1. Introdución

Thank you for choosing the PowerWalker VI 3000 SCL FR Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Please observe the following safety precautions to ensure safe operation and to prevent damage to the UPS or connected equipment.

5. Configuración

5.1 Colocación

Choose a suitable location for your UPS:

• Place the UPS on a flat, stable surface.

• Avoid areas with excessive dust, humidity, or extreme temperatures.

1. Connect the UPS input power cord to a grounded wall outlet.
2. Allow the UPS to charge for at least 8 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery runtime. The UPS will charge whether it is turned ON or OFF.

5.3 Equipos de conexión

1. Plug your computer, monitor, and other critical devices into the output sockets on the rear panel of the UPS.
2. Do not connect laser printers or shredders to the UPS, as their high surge current during startup may overload the unit.
3. For network/telephone line protection, connect your modem/router to the RJ11/RJ45 IN port and then connect the OUT port to your device.

6.1 Turning the UPS ON/OFF

• Para ACTIVAR: Press and hold the power button on the front panel for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the LCD display illuminates.
• Para apagar: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the LCD display turns off.

The LCD display provides real-time status of the UPS. Key indicators include:
