The Scheppach DP60 is a high-precision bench drill designed for a variety of drilling tasks in wood, metal, and plastic. It features a powerful 710W motor, a digital display for precise speed and drilling depth control, an integrated LED work light, and a laser guide for accurate hole positioning. The quick-release clamp ensures secure workpiece handling.

Configuración

Desembalaxe e montaxe

  1. Retire con coidado todos os compoñentes da embalaxe. Inspeccione se houbo danos durante o envío.
  2. Verifique que estean presentes todas as pezas listadas na lista de embalaxe.
  3. Attach the column to the base using the provided fasteners. Ensure it is securely tightened.
  4. Mount the drill head assembly onto the column.
  5. Install the feed handle into the drill head.

Conexión de alimentación

Connect the power cable to a standard 230V, 50Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the power switch on the drill is in the "OFF" position before plugging it in. Avoid using extension cords unless absolutely necessary, and ensure any used extension cord is rated for the drill's power requirements.

  3. Insert the drill bit into the chuck, ensuring it is centered and inserted as far as possible without touching the chuck jaws.
  4. Tighten the chuck securely with the chuck key. Remove the chuck key immediately after tightening.

Axuste da velocidade

The DP60 features a digital display and variable speed control. Use the speed adjustment knob to select the desired RPM. The drill offers two speed ranges: 170-880 min-1 for lower speeds and 490-2600 min-1 for higher speeds. The digital display will show the current speed setting. Always select the appropriate speed for the material and drill bit size.

Using the Laser Guide and LED Light

Activate the integrated laser guide and LED light using the dedicated buttons on the control panel. The laser projects a crosshair onto the workpiece, indicating the exact drilling point for enhanced accuracy. The LED light illuminates the work area, improving visibility.

Operación de perforación

  1. Secure the workpiece firmly to the drill's base using the quick-release clamp ou outro clampmétodos de ing.
  2. Position the workpiece under the drill bit, aligning the desired drilling point with the laser guide.
  3. Turn on the drill using the power switch.
  4. Slowly lower the drill bit into the workpiece using the feed handle. Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the drill, as this can damage the bit or the material.
  5. Once drilling is complete, retract the drill bit from the workpiece and turn off the machine.

Limpeza

Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of your drill. Always disconnect the power plug before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down all surfaces. Remove any dust, chips, or debris from the chuck, column, and work area. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Almacenamento

Store the Scheppach DP60 Bench Drill in a dry, secure, and well-ventilated location. Protect it from moisture, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Keep the drill out of reach of children and unauthorized persons.
