4. Instrucións de configuración

1. Conecta o temporizador: Insert the CHACON 99050 Mechanical Timer into a standard 230V wall socket.
2. Establecer a hora actual: Rotate the 24-hour dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the arrow indicator on the timer's body. Ensure AM/PM is correctly observed (e.g., 1 PM is 13 on the dial).

1. Program ON/OFF Periods:

   The dial is divided into 15-minute segments. To set a period when the appliance should be ON, push down the corresponding segments around the dial. To set a period when the appliance should be OFF, leave the segments in the up position. You can set up to 48 ON/OFF cycles per day.

   ExampLe: To turn an appliance ON from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, push down the segments from 7 to 8 on the dial.
2. Conectar o aparello: Plug the electrical appliance you wish to control into the power socket on the front of the timer. Ensure the appliance's own power switch is set to the ON position.
3. Anulación manual:

   The timer includes a lateral switch. This switch allows you to manually override the programmed settings:

   • Establecer en "ACTIVADO": The appliance will remain continuously ON, regardless of the dial settings.
   • Establecer en "TIMER": The appliance will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF cycles.

• Appliance does not turn ON/OFF at programmed times:

  • Ensure the correct segments are pushed down for the desired ON periods.
  • Confirm the manual override switch is set to "TIMER".
  • Check if the connected appliance's power switch is in the ON position.
  • Ensure the appliance is functioning correctly when plugged directly into a wall socket.
• Timer is not rotating:
  • Ensure the timer is plugged into a live wall socket.
  • The timer is mechanical and relies on the mains power to operate its internal clock. If the power is interrupted, the time setting may become inaccurate.
