4. Configuración e instalación
4.1 Instalación física
- Montaxe: Use the provided mounting bracket and hardware to securely attach the SR692 reader to a stable surface. Ensure the antenna side faces the desired reading area.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento
5.1 Funcionamento básico
Once powered on and configured, the SR692 reader continuously emits a UHF radio frequency field. When an RFID tag compatible with the supported protocols (ISO18000-6C/EPC Gen2, ISO18000-6B) enters this field, the reader will detect the tag and read its unique identification data. This data is then transmitted via the configured interface (RJ45, RS232, RS485, or Wiegand) to the connected host system.
5.2 Reading Distance and Performance
The SR692 is designed for long-range reading, with an effective reading distance of up to 9 meters (approximately 30 feet) under ideal conditions. Factors affecting reading performance include:
- Tag Tipo: Passive UHF RFID tags.
- Tag Orientación: Optimal reading occurs when the tag is oriented correctly relative to the antenna.
- Interferencia ambiental: Metal objects, liquids, and other RF devices can affect performance.

6. Mantemento
