3. Interface física

3.1 Panel frontal

4. Configuración inicial

4.1 Conexión física

1. Conexión de alimentación: Connect the supplied power adapter to the PWR port on the rear panel of the Vigor 2927 and then plug it into a power outlet. Turn on the router using the ON/OFF switch.
2. Conexión WAN:
   • For your primary internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your ISP modem (e.g., cable modem, fiber ONT) to the WAN1 port on the Vigor 2927.
   • If using a secondary internet connection for Dual-WAN, connect another Ethernet cable from your second ISP modem to the WAN2/P6 porto.
3. Conexión LAN: Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports (P1-P5) on the Vigor 2927 to your computer or a network switch.

4.2 Acceso inicial a Web Interface

4. A login screen will appear. Enter the default username and password:

   It is highly recommended to change the default password immediately after the first login for security purposes.

4.3 Basic WAN Configuration

After logging in, navigate to WAN > General Setup to configure your internet connection(s).

• Select the appropriate WAN interface (e.g., WAN1).
• Choose the correct protocol (e.g., DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE) as provided by your ISP.
• Enter any required details such as IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS servers, or PPPoE username/password.

The Vigor 2927's web interface provides access to all configuration and monitoring features. Familiarize yourself with the menu structure on the left-hand side.

5.1 Dual-WAN Configuration

To configure Dual-WAN for load balancing or failover, navigate to WAN > General Setup e WAN > Load Balance/Route Policy.

2. Navega ata System Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade no web interface.
3. Browse and select the downloaded firmware file.
4. Click "Upgrade". Do not power off the router during the upgrade process.
