5. Configuración e instalación

The IP CAM-1 is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps for optimal performance:

Escolla un lugar de montaxe: Select a position that provides the desired field of view. The camera can be mounted rear-facing for use as a reverse camera or forward-facing for a view ahead of your vessel. Ensure the location is clear of obstructions and allows for proper cable routing.
Montar a cámara: Secure the camera using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure a watertight seal if mounting in an exposed area. The 316 stainless steel housing is designed for direct exposure to marine elements.
Conexión de alimentación:
- Alimentación por Ethernet (POE): If using POE, connect a compatible Ethernet cable from a POE-enabled network switch or injector directly to the camera's Ethernet port. This single cable will provide both power and data.
- Fonte de alimentación de 12 V: If not using POE, connect the camera to a stable 12V DC power source. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) to prevent damage.
Conexión de rede: Connect the camera to your vessel's network via an Ethernet cable. The camera is preconfigured for direct integration with compatible Simrad, Lowrance, and B&G chartplotters.
Initial Configuration (IP Address): After connecting, you may need to manually enter the camera's IP address on each compatible multifunction display (MFD) where you wish to view the camera feed. Refer to your MFD's user manual for specific instructions on adding IP cameras.

6. Funcionamento

Once installed and configured, the IP CAM-1 camera feed can be accessed through your compatible chartplotter or fish finder.

Accessing Camera Feed: Navigate to the camera input section on your Simrad, Lowrance, or B&G multifunction display. The camera feed should appear as an available source.
Varias cámaras: If multiple IP CAM-1 cameras are installed on your network, you can typically cycle through their views directly from your MFD.
Visión nocturna: The camera automatically activates its IR LEDs in low-light conditions, providing clear black-and-white video up to 10 meters.

7. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your IP CAM-1 camera.

Limpeza da lente: Gently clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove salt spray, dirt, or debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that could scratch the lens.
