5. Configuración

5.1 Instalación inicial

1. Escolle unha localización: Select a central location for the Hub, away from metal objects and strong radio interference, to ensure optimal wireless coverage for all connected devices.
2. Conexión de alimentación: Connect the power cable to the Hub and plug it into a power outlet (AC 110~250 V). The Hub will power on automatically.
3. Conexión de rede:
   • Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable from the Hub to your router.
   • Wi-Fi: Configure Wi-Fi settings via the Ajax Security System mobile application after initial setup.
   • Tarxetas SIM: Insert up to two 3G SIM cards into the designated slots on the back of the Hub for cellular backup communication.
4. Montaxe: Use the provided mounting kit to securely attach the Hub to a wall. Ensure the tamper switch on the back is pressed when mounted to detect unauthorized removal.

5.2 Configuración da aplicación

1. Descarga a aplicación: Download the "Ajax Security System" app from your mobile device's app store (iOS/Android).
2. Crear conta: Register a new user account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Hub: In the app, select "Add Hub" and scan the QR code located on the back of the Hub or enter its ID manually.
4. Configurar axustes: Follow the on-screen prompts to configure network settings (if using Wi-Fi), user permissions, and add security devices (detectors, keypads, etc.).

To expand your security system, you can add up to 150 wireless devices:

1. In the Ajax app, navigate to the "Devices" tab and tap "Add Device".
2. Scan the QR code on the device or enter its ID manually.
3. Follow the app's instructions to pair the device with the Hub and configure its settings (e.g., room, type of detector).

6.3 Video Integration

The Hub 2 Plus supports integration with up to 50 IP cameras or video recording channels. Refer to the Ajax app for detailed instructions on adding and managing video surveillance devices.

• Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the Hub. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Actualizacións de firmware: The Hub's firmware is updated automatically via the Ajax app. Ensure your Hub is connected to the internet for these updates.
• Batería de respaldo: The internal backup battery provides up to 16 hours of operation during a power outage. While the battery is designed for long life, regular power cycling (unplugging and replugging the Hub) is not necessary for maintenance.
