1. Introdución

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Commax DP-2S Audio Handset (indoor unit) and DR-201D Intercom Panel (outdoor unit). 2. Información de seguridade

4. Configuración e instalación

4.1. Diagrama de cableado (xeral)

The Commax DP-2S and DR-201D typically use a 2-wire connection for audio and power. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections. Refer to the specific wiring diagram provided with your product packaging for detailed instructions, as variations may exist.

• Fío 1: Audio/Power (+)
• Fío 2: Ground/Power (-)

Nota: For longer cable runs, use thicker gauge wire to minimize signal loss.

4.2. Outdoor Unit (DR-201D) Installation

1. Escolla localización: Select a suitable location near the entrance, protected from direct rain and sunlight if possible, at a height convenient for visitors.
2. Montaxe:
   • Carefully open the outdoor unit casing para acceder aos orificios de montaxe.

4.3. Indoor Unit (DP-2S) Installation

1. Escolla localización: Install the indoor unit in a convenient location within the building, typically near the main entrance or in a central area.
2. Montaxe:
   • Marca os puntos de perforación na parede.
   • Perforar buratos e insertar ancoraxes de parede.
   • Secure the mounting bracket (if separate) or the unit directly to the wall.
3. Cableado: Connect the 2-wire cable from the outdoor unit to the designated terminals on the indoor unit. Ensure correct polarity.
4. Conexión de alimentación: Connect the power adapter (if external) or ensure the unit is connected to the building's power supply as per local electrical codes.
5. Colocación final: Place the handset onto the base unit.

5. Instrucións de funcionamento

5.1. Recepción dunha chamada

1. When a visitor presses the call button on the DR-201D outdoor unit, the DP-2S indoor unit will ring.
2. Lift the handset of the DP-2S indoor unit to answer the call.
3. Speak into the handset to communicate with the visitor.
4. To end the call, place the handset back onto the base unit.

5.2. Making a Call (from Indoor Unit)

The Commax DP-2S / DR-201D system is primarily designed for visitors to initiate calls from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. The DP-2S indoor unit typically does not have a function to initiate a call to the outdoor unit.

5.3. Axuste de volume

The DP-2S indoor unit may feature a volume control switch or dial, usually located on the side or bottom of the handset base. Adjust to a comfortable listening level during a call.

6. Mantemento

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the product's lifespan.

• Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of both units. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
