3. Modos de funcionamento
The Prime 1800 offers several modes to optimize ranging for different scenarios. Press the Modo botón para percorrer os modos dispoñibles.
3.1 Basic Ranging
With the unit powered on, aim the reticle at your target and press the Power/Fire button. The distance to the target will be displayed instantly.
3.2 ActivSync Display
The ActivSync Display automatically adjusts the reticle and ranging data color for optimal visibility. It displays in black against bright backgrounds and red against dark backgrounds, ensuring clear readability in varying light conditions.

3.3 Angle Range Compensation (ARC) / Bow Mode
ARC provides true horizontal distance to the target, compensating for uphill or downhill angles. This is crucial for accurate shot placement, especially in archery. When in Bow Mode, the compensated distance is displayed.

Image: A diagram illustrating Angle Range Compensation (ARC) in Bow Mode. It shows a hunter in a tree stand ranging a deer, displaying both the line-of-sight distance (32 yards) and the true horizontal distance (23 yards) after angle compensation.
3.4 Brush Mode
In Brush Mode, the rangefinder ignores foreground objects like brush, tree branches, and tall grass, and provides the distance to the background target. This is useful in heavily wooded areas.
3.5 Bullseye Mode
Bullseye Mode is designed for close-range ranging of small targets. It acquires the distance of the closest object in the group, making it ideal for ranging small game or targets without interference from background objects.

3.6 Modo de exploración
Manteña premido o Power/Fire button and pan across multiple targets. The rangefinder will continuously update the distance, providing real-time readings. This mode updates 4 times per second for fast ranging.

Image: An icon representing Scan Mode, indicating continuous ranging at 4x per second.
3.7 Rifle Mode
Rifle Mode provides ballistic information relevant to rifle shooting, including holdover/holdunder values. Refer to the on-screen display for specific data.
3.8 Unit of Measure Selection
To switch between Yards (Y) and Meters (M):
- With the unit powered on, press and hold the Modo botón durante aproximadamente 3 segundos.
- The current unit of measure will flash. Press the Modo button again to toggle between Yards and Meters.
- Soltar o Modo botón para gardar a súa selección.
4. Mantemento
4.1 Limpeza
To clean the rangefinder, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, clean cloth. For lenses, use a lens cleaning cloth and lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
4.2 Almacenamento
Store the rangefinder in a cool, dry place when not in use. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
4.3 EXO Barrier Technology
The Prime 1800 features EXO Barrier coating on the exterior lens surfaces. This coating repels water, oil, fog, dust, and debris, ensuring a clear view even in challenging weather conditions. While durable, avoid scratching the lens surfaces.

5 Solución de problemas
- Sen visualización: Asegúrate de que a batería estea instalada correctamente e completamente cargada. Substitúea se é necesario.
- Pantalla pouco clara: Adjust the diopter ring until the display is sharp.
- Cannot Range Target: Ensure the target is within the minimum and maximum ranging distances. Make sure there are no obstructions between the rangefinder and the target. In some conditions (e.g., heavy fog, rain, or very dark targets), ranging performance may be reduced.
- Lecturas inexactas: Ensure you are using the correct operating mode for your target and environment (e.g., Brush Mode for dense foliage, ARC for angled shots).
