2. Información de seguridade

- Humidade: Do not expose the speaker to rain or moisture. Do not use near water.

3. Configuración
Follow these steps to set up your RCF ART 935-A speaker:
3.1 Desembalaxe
Carefully remove the speaker from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. The box should contain: RCF ART 935-A Digital 2-Way Active Speaker, Power Cord, and this User Manual.
3.2 Colocación física e montaxe
The ART 935-A is designed for versatile placement. It can be used on a pole, flown, wall-mounted, or truss-mounted. Ensure any mounting hardware used is rated for the speaker's weight (approximately 53.2 pounds / 24.2 kg).

3.3 Conexións
Locate the input/output panel on the rear of the speaker.

- Conexión de alimentación: Conecte o cable de alimentación subministrado á entrada de CA do panel traseiro e despois a unha toma de corrente axeitada.
- Entrada de audio: Use an XLR cable to connect your audio source (mixer, audio interface, etc.) to the "BALANCED INPUT/LINK" XLR input.
- Audio Link (Daisy Chain): If connecting multiple speakers, use an XLR cable from the "BALANCED INPUT/LINK" XLR output to the input of the next speaker.

Once the speaker is set up, you can begin operation.

4.1 Controis e indicadores
- Botón VOLUME: Adjusts the overall output level of the speaker. Turn counter-clockwise for minimum volume (-∞) and clockwise for maximum volume (MAX).
- PRESETS Button: Cycles through different audio equalization presets.
- LINEAL: Flat frequency response, suitable for general use or when external EQ is applied.
- IMPULSO: Enhances bass and treble frequencies, often used for music playback.
- STAGE: Optimized for stage monitor applications, reducing low-frequency build-up.
- LED DE SINAL: Illuminates when an audio signal is present at the input.
- OVERLOAD LED: Illuminates when the input signal is too high, indicating potential clipping. Reduce the input level to prevent distortion.
4.2 Acendido/Apagado
- Ensure the VOLUME knob is set to minimum (-∞).
- Conecte o cable de alimentación.
- Xire o interruptor de alimentación á posición "ON".
- Gradually increase the VOLUME to the desired level.
- To power off, reduce the VOLUME to minimum, then flip the power switch to "OFF".
5. Mantemento
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your RCF ART 935-A speaker.
- Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes. For the grille, a soft brush or vacuum cleaner can be used to remove dust.
- Inspección: Periodically check all cables for damage. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Almacenamento: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a dry, cool environment, ideally in its original packaging or a protective case.
