2. Configuración
Antes do primeiro uso, recoméndase limpar a fondo a cafeteira.
- Desembalar e limpar: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and plastic bands from the coffee maker. Wash the removable parts (carafe, lid, and filter basket) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Ciclo de primeiro uso: To clean the internal components, fill the water reservoir to the 12-cup mark with clean water. Place the empty filter basket into its holder and close the lid. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Plug the coffee maker into an electrical outlet. Press the power button to start a brew cycle without coffee grounds. Once the cycle is complete, discard the water from the carafe.
- Posicionamento: Place the coffee maker on a stable, level surface away from the edge of the counter.

3. Instrucións de funcionamento
Siga estes pasos para preparar unha cafeteira fresca:
- Engadir auga: Open the top lid of the coffee maker. Fill the glass carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water (up to 12 cups). Pour the water into the water reservoir, ensuring not to exceed the 12-cup fill line.
- Engadir pos de café: Place a standard basket-style paper filter (or the reusable filter if included) into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is 1 tablespoon of coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.
- Close Lid and Position Carafe: Close the top lid securely. Place the empty glass carafe with its lid onto the warming plate.
- Preparar café: Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet. Press the power button (often labeled with a power symbol or 'ON/OFF'). The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.
- Función de Sneak-A-Cup: The coffee maker features a 'Brew Stop' device (also known as Sneak-A-Cup). This allows you to temporarily remove the carafe during the brewing cycle to pour a cup of coffee. The flow of coffee will automatically pause. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.
- Función Manter quente: After brewing, the coffee maker will automatically switch to a 'keep warm' function, maintaining the coffee's temperature. The special feature allows you to drink coffee without heating it as it has the function of keeping warm.
- Programación (se corresponde): If your model includes programmable features, refer to the specific buttons (e.g., 'PROG', 'HR', 'MIN') on the control panel to set a delayed brew time. This allows you to prepare the coffee maker the night before and wake up to freshly brewed coffee.

4. Mantemento
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.
- Limpeza diaria: After each use, unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool. Remove the filter basket and carafe. Discard used coffee grounds and paper filter. Wash the carafe, carafe lid, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. These parts are generally top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for best results. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp pano.
- Descalcificación: Mineral deposits (calcium and lime) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker every 1-3 months, depending on water hardness.
- Verte 1 cunca de vinagre branco e 2 cuncas de auga fría no depósito de auga.
- Place a paper filter in the filter basket (without coffee grounds).
- Coloque a garrafa baleira no prato quentador.
- Press the power button to start a brew cycle.
- After about 30 seconds, press the power button again to turn off the coffee maker and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.
- Press the power button to resume the brew cycle. Once complete, discard the vinegar-water solution.
- Run 2-3 full cycles with clean, cold water to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste.
