3. Configuración
Proper setup is crucial for accurate measurements.
- Colocación: Place the balance on a stable, vibration-free surface, away from direct sunlight, air currents, and significant temperature changes.
- Axuste horizontal: Use the adjustable leveling feet at the base of the scale to center the bubble in the built-in level indicator. This ensures the weighing pan is perfectly horizontal.
- Montaxe: Carefully place the stainless steel weighing pan onto the center of the weighing platform. Ensure the glass draft shield is properly assembled around the weighing area.
- Conexión de alimentación: Connect the power adapter to the balance and plug it into an AC 100V-240V power outlet. Alternatively, the scale can be powered by 4x1.5V batteries (not included) for portable use.
- Tempo de quecemento: After powering on, allow the balance to warm up for at least 30 minutes before making critical measurements. This stabilizes the internal components for optimal accuracy.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento
4.1 Pesaxe básica
- Preme o ON/OFF botón para acender a balanza.
- Wait for the display to show 0.000g.
- Place the item to be weighed on the center of the stainless steel pan.
- Lea o peso estable que se mostra na pantalla LCD.
4.2 Función de tara
To subtract the weight of a container:
- Coloque o recipiente baleiro no prato de pesaxe.
- Preme o TARE/CAL button. The display will reset to 0.000g.
- Engada a substancia que se vai pesar no recipiente. A pantalla mostrará o peso neto da substancia.
4.3 Conversión de unidades
The balance supports 19 measuring units. To change the unit:
- Preme o UNIDADE button repeatedly to cycle through available units (Gram, Kilogram, Carat, Tola, TAR, Dram, PKT, Grain, TMR, gsm, tlJ, mo, Penny weight, Ounce, Pound, Taiwan Tael, Troy-Ounce, Hong Kong Tael, and %).
- You can lock up to 16 different unit packages (e.g., g, t, ct, oz, lb) and hide uncommon units for efficiency. Refer to the full manual for detailed unit locking procedures.

4.4 Piece Counting Function
To count multiple pieces of an item:
- Preme o PCS button to enter piece counting mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to set a sample quantity (e.g., 10, 20, 50, 100 pieces).
- Place the corresponding number of sample pieces on the pan and confirm.
- Elimina o sample pieces. When you place an unknown quantity of the same item, the display will show the count.

4.5 Data Output (RS232 & USB)
The lab scale is equipped with RS232 and USB ports for connecting to a computer or printer. It supports three printing modes: continuous print, key print, and command print.
For detailed instructions on configuring continuous output or key output settings, please refer to the video demonstration below.

5. Calibración
Calibration ensures the accuracy of your balance. It is recommended to recalibrate after moving the balance or before critical use.
5.1 Calibración manual
Para realizar unha calibración manual:
- Ensure the weighing pan is empty.
- Manteña premido o TARE/CAL button until 'CAL' appears on the display.
- The display will then show the required calibration weight (e.g., 500.000g).
- Carefully place the specified calibration weight onto the center of the weighing pan.
- Wait for the balance to stabilize and confirm the calibration. The display will return to 0.000g once complete.
- Remove the calibration weight.
5.2 Standard and Linear Calibration
For detailed steps on performing standard and linear calibration, please refer to the video demonstration in Section 4.5.
