5. Configuración e funcionamento
5.1 Instalación da batería
The meter requires batteries for operation. Refer to the battery compartment on the back of the device for proper installation. Ensure correct polarity.
5.2 Funcionamento xeral
- Encendido/apagado: Turn the rotary dial from "OFF" to the desired measurement function to power on the meter. Turn back to "OFF" to power off.
- Selección de funcións: Use the rotary dial to select the primary measurement type (e.g., V~ for AC Voltage, A~ for AC Current).
- Range Selection (Auto-Ranging): The TMT410004 features auto-ranging, which automatically selects the appropriate measurement range.
- "FUNC" Button: Press the "FUNC" button to cycle through sub-functions within a selected rotary dial position (e.g., AC/DC voltage, díodo/continuidade).

5.3 Specific Measurement Instructions
5.3.1 Medición da corrente alterna (Clamp función)
To measure AC current, ensure the rotary dial is set to an AC current range (e.g., 60/600A or Inrush 1000A). Open the clamp jaws by pressing the trigger and enclose only one conductor of the circuit. The reading will appear on the display.

5.3.2 AC/DC Voltage Medición
Insert the red test lead into the "VΩmA" input jack and the black test lead into the "COM" input jack. Set the rotary dial to "V~" for AC voltage or "V-" for DC voltage. Connect the test probes across the circuit or component to be measured. Read the voltago valor da pantalla.
5.3.3 Medición de resistencia
Ensure the circuit is de-energized. Insert the red test lead into the "VΩmA" input jack and the black test lead into the "COM" input jack. Set the rotary dial to "Ω". Connect the test probes across the component. Read the resistance value on the display.
5.3.4 Proba de continuidade
Ensure the circuit is de-energized. Insert the red test lead into the "VΩmA" input jack and the black test lead into the "COM" input jack. Set the rotary dial to the continuity/diode position and press "FUNC" until the continuity symbol ())) is displayed. Connect the test probes across the circuit. A continuous beep indicates continuity.

Insert the red test lead into the "VΩmA" input jack and the black test lead into the "COM" input jack. Set the rotary dial to the Hz/% position. Connect the test probes to the signal source. The frequency (Hz) or duty cycle (%) will be displayed. Use the "FUNC" button to switch between frequency and duty cycle.
5.3.8 Medición da temperatura
Insert the temperature probe into the "VΩmA" and "COM" input jacks, ensuring correct polarity. Set the rotary dial to the °C/°F position. The ambient temperature will be displayed. Place the probe tip on or near the object whose temperature you wish to measure. The display will show the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

5.3.9 Vol. sen contactotagDetección e (NCV).
Set the rotary dial to the "NCV/LIVE" position. Move the top of the clamp meter near the conductor or outlet. The meter will beep and an LED will light up (green for low voltage, red for high voltage) to indicate the presence of AC voltage sen contacto directo.

6. Mantemento
- Limpeza: Limpe o medidor cun pano seco e suave. Non empregue abrasivos nin solventes.
- Substitución da batería: When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries immediately to ensure accurate readings.
- Almacenamento: If the meter is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
