3. Configuración

Before using your Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro, ensure the device is fully charged and updated to the latest firmware. The device supports USB charging and can also be charged via the OBD cable when connected to a vehicle.

3.1 Connecting the OBD Module

The Key Tool Max Pro features a built-in OBD module for direct connection to a vehicle's OBD-II port. This allows for easy IMMO programming and other diagnostic functions.

• Locate the OBD-II port in your vehicle (typically under the dashboard on the driver's side).
• Connect the OBD to DB15 cable with light to the OBD port on the Key Tool Max Pro device.
• Plug the other end of the OBD cable into your vehicle's OBD-II port. The integrated LED light on the cable assists in locating the port in low-light conditions.

The Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro offers a wide range of functions accessible through its intuitive touchscreen interface. Below are detailed instructions for common operations.

4.1 Remote Charge Battery

This function allows you to charge rechargeable keys, such as those found in older BMW EWS series vehicles, directly using the Key Tool Max Pro.

1. No menú principal, navega ata Función especial.
2. Desprácese cara abaixo e seleccione Remote Charge Battery.
3. Insert the rechargeable key into the designated slot on the top of the Key Tool Max Pro device.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts and click OK to begin charging. The device will display the charging progress.

4.2 Leakage Current and Voltage Detección

The Key Tool Max Pro can detect battery leakage current and voltage, which is crucial for diagnosing issues with remote keys and vehicle batteries.

4.2.1 Leakage Current Test

1. Connect the Leakage Detection Cable to the designated port on the Key Tool Max Pro.
2. No menú principal, vaia a Función especial e selecciona Leakage Detection and Voltage Detección.

4. Touch the probes of the cable to the appropriate points on the key chip to be tested. The device will display the leakage current value.

4.2.2 voltage Proba

1. Ensure the Leakage Detection Cable is connected to the device.
2. No menú principal, vaia a Función especial e selecciona Leakage Detection and Voltage Detección.
3. Escolle Voltage Detección e fai clic OK.
4. Touch the black probe to the negative terminal and the red probe to the positive terminal of the battery (e.g., a coin cell battery or vehicle battery). The device will display the voltage lectura.

4.3 Programación IMMO

The Key Tool Max Pro supports immobilizer programming for thousands of car models, including advanced CAN_FD models. This function allows for adding new keys, programming transponders, and other immobilizer-related tasks.

• Supports CAN_FD models such as Cadillac CT4/CT5, Buick GL8, Encore, Chevrolet Cavalier, Trax.
• Free IMMO programming for BMW CAS3+ & lower modules (CAS1, CAS2, CAS3/CAS3+, EWS IMMO systems, ECU ISN, Instrument mileage repair).
• Supports partial Toyota 8A/4D Add Key/All Key Lost for models like Corolla, Camry, Crown, Highlander, Lexus, LEVIN, Hiraks, RAV4, REIZ, VIOS, PRADO/LAND CRUISER.

4.4 Remote Generate and Clone

The device can generate and clone remote keys for a vast number of vehicles and garage doors.

• Supports HCS/Fixed code cloning, non-HCS rolling code cloning (PT22XX, LX918, HT6P20, VD5026, AX5326, HT12X fixed code editing).
• Generates remotes for over 6000 vehicle remotes from 200 car brands worldwide.
• Generates garage remotes for over 100 models.
• Requires Xhorse Super Remote or Super Chip for optimal performance in transponder cloning or remote generation.

4.5 Transponder Identification and Clone

The Key Tool Max Pro supports identification and cloning of most immobilizer transponders on the market.

• Supports ID46, ID48 (96bits), and Toyota 8A/8H transponder online calculation.

5. Mantemento

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Actualizacións periódicas: Connect the device to Wi-Fi and regularly check for firmware and software updates through the "Update" section on the device. Keeping the software current ensures access to the latest vehicle models and functions.
• Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device's screen and body. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.
• Almacenamento: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the provided carrying case for protection during transport and storage.
