Instrucións de funcionamento
Calibración da sonda:
Proper probe calibration is crucial for accurate measurements. Follow these steps:
- Connect the BNC probe to Channel 1 on the oscilloscope. Rotate the metal ring on the probe connector to secure it.
- Press the probe head to extend the hook.
- Connect the hook to the calibration port on the oscilloscope. Ensure the lower part of the calibration port (output) is connected to the probe tip and the upper part (ground) is connected to the probe's ground clip.
- Press the "AUTO" button on the oscilloscope. The device will automatically adjust settings to display a square waveform.
- Observe the waveform. If it shows overcompensation (rounded top corners) or undercompensation (slanted top corners), the probe needs calibration.
- Locate the screw stick in the probe kit. Insert it into the small hole on the probe connector and slowly rotate to adjust until the waveform displays a flat, clean square edge.
- For easy identification, you can fit the probe with a color ring that matches the channel color on the oscilloscope.
Measuring Signals:
When testing signals, try to use a short ground lead as possible, such as the ground pogo pin. The ground connection should be close to the signal source to greatly reduce interference and improve signal fidelity.
- Pin Probe: The pin probe can pierce the sensor signal line for direct measurement.
- Pinzas de caimán: Alligator clips are typically used for grounding connections.
- BNC to Banana Cable: Connect a BNC to Banana cable to any channel. The banana head can be connected to a pin probe or an alligator clip depending on the measurement requirement.
CAN FD Bus Decoding:
The SATO1004 supports CAN FD bus decoding for advanced automotive diagnostics.
- Connect the CAN FD bus signal to the oscilloscope.
- Open the serial bus menu on the oscilloscope's touch screen.
- Select "CAN FD" from the available options.
- According to the input signal, set the Source, Signal, Baud rate, and Sampposición da lingua.
- Set the trigger to "Bus decoding".
- Adjust the Level to the middle of the waveform and set the time base and vertical scale to the proper position to clearly view the decoded data.
- Podes view the decoded data directly on the screen.
- To record data, open TXT mode. This mode can record all the data.
- Click "QuickSave" to save the decoded data to a CSV file para unha análise posterior.

Mantemento
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Micsig SATO1004 oscilloscope, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Limpeza: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the oscilloscope. For the touch screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display or casing.
- Almacenamento: Store the oscilloscope in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. When not in use, ensure the back stand is folded and the device is placed in its protective packaging or a suitable carrying case.
- Coidado da batería: The built-in 7500mAh Li-ion battery provides 4-5 hours of operation. For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, and if storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is charged to about 50-70%.
- Ventilación: Ensure the fan vents on the back of the oscilloscope are clear of obstructions to allow for proper heat dissipation. This is critical for preventing overheating and maintaining performance.
- Coidados da sonda: Handle probes carefully. Store them properly to prevent damage to the tips and cables. Calibrate probes regularly as demonstrated in the operating instructions to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Actualizacións de software: Connect to Wi-Fi and open the AppMarket to download WPS (Wireless Protection Setup) and other software updates. Regularly updating the device's software ensures access to the latest features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
Resolución de problemas
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your Micsig SATO1004 oscilloscope.
Issue: Device does not power on.
- Solución 1: Check the power switch lock. Ensure it is slid to the "ON" position. It is set to OFF by factory to prevent accidental turn-on.
- Solución 2: Verify the battery charge. Connect the oscilloscope to the power adapter and allow it to charge for some time before attempting to power on again.
- Solución 3: Ensure the power adapter and power cord are securely connected to both the oscilloscope and a working power outlet.
Issue: Waveforms are distorted or inaccurate.
- Solución 1: Perform probe calibration as detailed in the "Operating Instructions" section. Incorrect probe compensation is a common cause of waveform distortion.
- Solución 2: Ensure the probe's ground lead is connected as close as possible to the signal source to minimize interference.
- Solución 3: Check the probe's attenuation setting (e.g., 1X, 10X) on the probe itself and ensure it matches the setting on the oscilloscope channel.
- Solución 4: Adjust the vertical scale (Volts/Div) and time base (Sec/Div) settings to properly display the waveform. Use the "AUTO" button for an initial automatic setup.
Issue: Device overheats.
- Solución 1: Ensure the sealed plastic film has been completely removed from the device, especially from the fan area on the back.
- Solución 2: Check that the fan vents are not obstructed by anything (e.g., clothing, papers, dust). Ensure adequate airflow around the device.
- Solución 3: Operate the device in a well-ventilated area and avoid direct sunlight or other heat sources.
Issue: Cannot save data or access files.
- Solución 1: Check the internal storage. Ensure there is sufficient free space on the 32GB internal storage.
- Solución 2: If saving to an external USB drive, ensure the drive is properly formatted and connected to one of the USB ports (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0).
- Solución 3: For CSV file access, ensure you have downloaded a compatible application like WPS from the AppMarket and that the file is saved in the correct directory.
