Please read all instructions carefully before using the KOIOS EM621 Espresso Machine. Retain this manual for future reference.

1.1 Seguridade xeral

2.1 Compoñentes

3. Configuración

3.1 Limpeza inicial

1. Retire todos os materiais de embalaxe.
2. Wash the water tank, portafilter, filters, measuring spoon, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.2 Enchendo o depósito de auga

1. Remove the water tank from the back of the machine using its handle.
2. Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line.

Before first use, or if the machine has not been used for a long time, prime the system:

6. Turn the function knob back to the neutral position. The machine is now primed.

4. Instrucións de funcionamento

4.1 Elaboración de espresso

1. Precalentar: Turn on the machine. Ensure the function knob is set to "Coffee". Wait for the indicator light to turn solid, indicating the machine is preheated.
2. Preparar o café: Grind fresh coffee beans to a fine espresso grind. Fill the appropriate filter basket (1-cup or 2-cup) with ground coffee.
3. Tamp: Use o tamper to press the coffee grounds firmly and evenly into the filter basket. Ensure the surface is level.
4. Conecte o portafiltro: Insert the portafilter into the group head and twist it firmly to the right until it is securely locked.

7. Parar: The machine will automatically stop brewing when the programmed volume is reached. You can manually stop brewing at any time by pressing the button again.
8. Eliminar o portafiltro: Retire con coidado o portafiltro xirándoo cara á esquerda. Desbote os posos de café usados.

4.2 Espuma de leite

1. Preparar o leite: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (whole milk is recommended for best results).
2. Activar Steam: Turn the function knob to the "Steam" mode. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate, indicating the machine is ready to produce steam.
3. Variña de purga: Briefly open the steam valve to release any condensed water from the wand. Close the valve.
4. Leite espumoso: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam valve slowly. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
