1. Introdución

The TOPTES PT205 is an advanced natural gas detector designed to enhance safety in your home and recreational vehicles (RVs). It features an innovative %LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) concentration percentage detection, providing precise readings within a range of 1%LEL to 10%LEL (equivalent to 100ppm-5,000ppm, based on Methane).

5. Configuración

5.1 Instalación da batería

  1. Unscrew the end cap of the device to access the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the two included AAA Alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Securely screw the end cap back onto the device.

5.2 Power On and Warm-up

6.2 Indicadores de alarma

  • Alarma visual: The bar graph on the LCD display will increase as the gas concentration rises. For high gas concentrations, the LCD screen will turn red.
  • Alarma sonora: A distinct beeping sound will accompany the visual alert. The frequency of the beep will increase with higher gas levels.
  • %LEL Value: The display will show the real-time percentage of the Lower Explosive Limit (%LEL) for the detected gas.

7. Mantemento

7.1 Substitución da batería

The device features a low battery indicator on the LCD screen. When this indicator appears, replace both AAA Alkaline batteries promptly to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

  • Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.
  • Store the PT205 in its included storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
