5. Configuración

1. Colocación: Position the subwoofer on a stable, flat surface. For optimal bass response, consider placing it in a corner or near a wall. Ensure adequate space around the unit for ventilation. The top of the subwoofer features a pole mount for attaching a full-range speaker.
2. Conexión de alimentación: Connect the provided power cable to the AC INPUT on the rear panel and then to a suitable grounded power outlet (110V/60Hz). Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'OFF' position before connecting.
3. Entrada de audio: Use XLR cables to connect your mixer, amplifier, or DJ equipment to the XLR INPUT jacks on the subwoofer's rear panel.
4. Saída de audio (opcional): If connecting to additional powered speakers, use XLR cables from the XLR OUTPUT jacks on the subwoofer to the inputs of your other speakers. The subwoofer features an electronic crossover from 35Hz to 120Hz, with XLR high pass output from 120Hz to 20KHz.

• High Pass/Full Range Selector: This switch controls the output serial cut-off selector. When the button is pressed in, the output is High Pass (120Hz to 20KHz). When the button is out, the output is Full Range. This signal is sent to the Mid-High active speaker.

Operación básica:

1. After connecting all cables, turn the subwoofer's volume knob to its minimum setting.
2. Flip the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The Power Indicator LED should illuminate green.
3. Start playing audio from your source (mixer, etc.).
4. Slowly increase the subwoofer's volume to your desired level. Observe the Signal and Limit indicators. The Signal light should flicker with audio presence. If the Limit light illuminates frequently or stays on, reduce the input signal level from your source or the subwoofer's volume to prevent distortion and potential damage.

6. Adjust the Phase switch if you experience phase cancellation with other speakers in your system, which can result in reduced bass response.

• Distorted Sound / Limit Light On:
  • The Limit LED indicates that the input signal is too strong. Reduce the output volume from your audio source (mixer, amplifier) or lower the subwoofer's volume knob until the Limit light no longer illuminates consistently.
  • Ensure the High Pass/Full Range Selector is set appropriately for your system configuration.
• Weak Bass / Lack of Punch:
  • Check the Phase switch. Try toggling it to the opposite setting (REV 180°) to see if it improves bass response, especially when used with other speakers.
  • Adjust the DSP Presets to find a setting that provides the desired bass characteristics for your content.
  • Review subwoofer placement. Moving it closer to a wall or corner can sometimes enhance bass.
