The TI-106 II calculator operates using both solar power and a battery. For optimal performance, ensure the calculator is exposed to sufficient light. If the display dims or functions become erratic in low light, the battery may need replacement.

Operacións básicas
- Power On/Clear: Preme ON/C to turn on the calculator or clear the current entry/calculation.
- Number Entry: Use the number keys (0-9) to enter digits.
- Punto decimal: Preme . for a decimal point.
- Operacións aritméticas: Use +, -, ×, ÷ para suma, resta, multiplicación e división.
- Igual: Preme = to display the result of a calculation.
- Sign Change: Preme +/- to change the sign of the displayed number.
