1. Introdución

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your AERVY WiFi Extender Signal Booster, model CF-WR302S. 3. Instrucións de configuración

The AERVY WiFi Extender can be set up using two primary methods: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) or via a web navegador.

3.1 WPS Setup (Recommended for compatible routers)

1. Encendido: Plug the AERVY WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router. Wait for the power indicator light to become stable.
2. Activar WPS no enrutador: Press the WPS button on your main Wi-Fi router. Refer to your router's manual for the exact location and procedure.
3. Activar WPS no extensor: Within two minutes of pressing the WPS button on your router, press the WPS button on the AERVY WiFi Extender.
4. Conectar: The extender's signal indicator light should change to indicate a successful connection (e.g., solid blue or green). This may take a few moments.
5. Reubicación (opcional): Once connected, you can unplug the extender and move it to a more central location between your router and the area needing extended coverage. Ensure the signal indicator shows a good connection after relocation.

3.2 Web Configuración do navegador

1. Encendido: Plug the AERVY WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet.
2. Conectar á rede do extensor: On your computer or mobile device, connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the extender (e.g., "AERVY_EXT" or similar, without a password).

4. Iniciar sesión: Enter the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, refer to your quick start guide).
5. Seleccionar modo: Choose "Repeater Mode" to extend your existing Wi-Fi network.
6. Busca de redes: The extender will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your main router's network from the list.
7. Introduza o contrasinal: Enter the Wi-Fi password for your main router's network.
8. Configure Extender SSID (Optional): You can choose to keep the same network name (SSID) as your main router or create a new one (e.g., "YourNetworkName_EXT").
9. Aplicar configuración: Save the settings and wait for the extender to restart.
10. Verificar a conexión: Once restarted, the extender's signal indicator should show a successful connection. You can now connect your devices to the extended network.

4.1 Modo repetidor

In Repeater Mode, the extender wirelessly connects to your existing router and rebroadcasts the signal, expanding your Wi-Fi coverage. Devices connect to the extender's network (either the same SSID or a new one you created during setup).

4.2 Modo de punto de acceso (PA)

In AP Mode, the extender connects to your router via an Ethernet cable and creates a new wireless network. This is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired network or creating a separate Wi-Fi network in a specific area.

1. Conectar a Ethernet: Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the extender's Ethernet port and the other end into a LAN port on your main router.
2. Configurar mediante Web Navegador: Follow steps 2-4 from the "Web Browser Setup" section (3.2).
3. Seleccione o modo AP: During setup, choose "AP Mode" instead of "Repeater Mode."
4. Configure SSID and Password: Set a new Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password for the access point.
5. Aplicar configuración: Save the settings and wait for the extender to restart.

4.3 Colocación óptima

For best performance, place the extender halfway between your router and the area where you need improved Wi-Fi coverage. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
