Q: Only parts of my heated mattress pad are getting warm.

A: This is typically caused by a bunched or pinched heating element. Ensure the heated mattress pad is laid flat and not tucked in, and that nothing heavy is on it. Lay the mattress pad flat and run your fingers along the wire paths, paying special attention to the top and bottom edges where wires might bend. Manually twist any twisted wires back into place.

A: No. The control will feel warm (not hot) to the touch when functioning properly. Even when the controller is on, small amounts of electricity will cycle through it, which may make the controller warm.
